Description

Hey there!

I'm Anika and I just finished my bachelor's degree in Germany. I studied Environmental Sciences in Freiburg, close to the Black Forest. Known for hiking, biking, cake and ham and the fairytails. Even if it's a beatiful place to live in I'm now ready to travel the world and get to know different lifestyles and people.

I love spending time in nature and enjoy hiking, biking, swimming, kayaking, climbing and horseback riding. I'm always interested in learning about nature, trying new sports and taking on adventures.

I spent a big part of my lifetime living in the countryside on farms after I grew up on the small hobby farm of my family. We had some animals like ponies, cats and rabbits but I also worked with cows, horses, pigs, sheep, dogs and chicken. Whenever I live in a city, I miss having animals around me.

We also grew fruits and vegetables and cooked really tasty dishes out of them (nothing tastes better than the food you've cooked from your homegrown food!) :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I love working outside! That's why I was working in a landscape gardening company next to my studies and helped with harvesting strawberries or apples in some seasons. Because of all that I'm used to physical outdoor work in different weather situations and dirty clothes and hands have become my best friends over the years :)
I also worked on a school farm and helped out on some horse farms, a buffalo and a galloway farm. I learned a lot about the farming lifestyle and was doing daily chores, taking care about animals and harvesting fruits/ hey. I also learned how to use different tools, how to drive a tractor and I can handle chainsaws and brush cutters. On some farms I also took care of groups of children and cleaned the house where the kids stayed.
I enjoy cooking and baking and eat a mostly vegetarian/vegan diet.
I speak English fluently and am always interested in learning a new languages :)

I'm very creative and I like drawing and painting and have started embroidery. I'm really open-minded and love to meet people. If there is something new I'm into trying and learning about it.
