Hi, I’m Ania.

I was born and raised in Germany and moved to Poland three years ago to reconnect with my roots. Now I’m looking forward to learning from different ways of life, meeting inspiring people and becoming part of everyday life in different communities through Workaway.

Over the years, I’ve worked in hospitality, hotels, on farms and, more recently, in facility management and logistics on an international military site. Every role has taught me something different and made me a very adaptable person. While I appreciate everything I’ve learned in my current position, the past few years behind a desk have reminded me that I’m happiest when I can work with my hands, stay active and see the direct results of what I’ve accomplished at the end of the day.

Animals have always been part of my life. I grew up with dogs, and Enzo is my first dog of my own. I adopted him about a year ago, and he’ll turn two at the end of October. Since then, we’ve been almost inseparable. He comes with me almost everywhere, including work, so he’s used to new places, different people and changing routines. Enzo is a well-trained, neutered rescue dog who loves the company of other dogs and is comfortable around cats, horses, chickens and other farm animals. Like any dog, he needs a little time to settle into a new environment, but he adapts quickly and has a gentle, friendly nature.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me outdoors. Horses are my greatest passion, and I always feel at home around them. I also enjoy cooking, hiking, photography and staying active through different sports. I love the balance between adventure and quiet moments in nature, where I can slow down and recharge. At the same time, I’m a very social person and enjoy spending evenings with good company, whether that’s around a campfire, playing board games or card games, or simply having good conversations.

I look forward to meeting you, sharing experiences and becoming part of your everyday life for a little while.

I have experience with dogs, horses and farm life and enjoy working with animals.
I love practical work and don’t mind getting my hands dirty. Whether it’s gardening, painting, cleaning, organizing or helping around the property, I’m always happy to lend a hand.
Thanks to my background in hospitality, hotels and facility management, I’m reliable, adaptable and enjoy working with people.
I speak German and Polish fluently and have a good conversational level of English.
