I am interested in travelling and exploring with Workaway almost anywhere within Europe from mid August to mid September. I am really excited to live a new adventure, and meet some amazing people :)

Description

Hey!! My name is Ángela and I am a philosophy degree student from Madrid. I consider myself a very active person who loves to spend time outdoors and practicing sports. Every chance I get, I like to go hiking, camping, climbings, etc. I am also really into arts, and love to paint and do ceramics. I believe that art is a significant tool that helps us create meaningful connections within ourselves and the world that surrounds us.

I recently came back from an erasmus in Finland, where I got the chance to experience the beauty of nordic nature and share it with amazing people from all over the world. Now that I am at home, I miss having the opportunity to connect with such a broad spectrum of people, and to learn from their cultures and different knowledges. I would love to create deep and meaningful connections during my workaway stay, while also enjoying living in a place surrounded by incredible nature :))

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Besides studying philosophy, I work as a camp counselor, english and philosophy tutor, and sometimes also volunteer with the scout group that lives next to my home. I have also participated in several projects for the inclusion of migrant youths in risk of social exclusion. This has helped me further develop my creative side and problem solving skills, as it is much needed when working with kids. Furthermore, I have also worked as a waitress for a few years. I enjoy a lot working be myself, but I would consider myself great at teamwork, and really like to share my time and efforts with great peers. Altohugh I do not know a lot about gardening, construction work, or farming, I am a fast learner and I would love to learn more about selfsufficient lyfestyles.

I am really excited to share the little things I know with other people, and get to broaden my knowledge with them. I honestly think that the best thing I have to offer is a lot of enthusiasm to learn new things, stay active, and always have a good time!!

I love to stay active and have a lot of different hobbies that I enjoy doing in my free time. I am really into arts and crafts, and have a lot of fun doing anything that requires a little bit of manual work. I enjoy painting and doing ceramics. I also love music, and have been playing the clarinet since I was really young. I am currently federated in a rugby team and do taekwondo. Although these two sports are just hobbies, I take them very seriously and give them a lot of my time. On the other hand, I absolutely love to make videos and take photos of the trips with my friends and family.
