Dear hosts, Workawayers, and anyone else reading my bio :D

My name is Andris, I’m 23 years old and a recent Computer Science graduate with a big passion for nature.

Next year I’ll be starting my master’s in Cartography, but for now I’ve given myself a gap year—which, of course, means I’m hitting the road!!!

I’ve had some wonderful experiences with volunteering. I’ve done Workaway twice so far, both times in hostels, and I loved every minute of it. (And, if I may brag just a little—my hosts loved having me there too!)

Beyond that, I’ve also volunteered with different school programs, such as Erasmus Student Network and various camps. I truly enjoy working with people, and I tend to get along with everyone.

As much as I love hostel life, I’d like to try something different this time. Nature has always been my real passion, so I’d love to help out somewhere more nature-oriented—whether that’s a permaculture farm, a renovation project, or working with animals. I believe stepping outside your comfort zone is the best way to learn and grow, and I’m excited for the chance to do that.

Friends and family often call me a handyman, and I’ve learned a lot about nature through scouting. I’ve spent plenty of time in the forest hiking, camping, and just enjoying the outdoors.

I’d be very happy to lend a hand at your place, and I hope you’ll consider me.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Besides nature I have a passion for music, listening to it and making some as well.

I consider myself a chill person when it comes to communicate with other people, it's hard to make me angry, so I can deal with different situations calmly.

When I studied tourism, I did it in english, so i can talk fluently and understand different accents, since I had classmates from all around the world.

I'm working precise and hard, even if it is a not so pleasant duty.
