Hey There! We are Anni and Andrew, we have been traveling the world together since we met in 2016.

I’m (Anni), 27 years old and from Germany and Andrew is 32 years old and originally from England.

A little bit about ourselves:
We are social creatures, which is why we love traveling so much! We thrive learning about new cultures and people, we love playing cards and socializing with people and we feel most at home in Nature. We are naturally curious and enjoy learning new skills.

Our skills include:
Anni: Bachelor's degree in sustainable, international tourism management. Copywriting and marketing experience, hospitality experience, and love for plants.
Andrew: TEFL certified English teacher, with hospitality experience, construction experience, and knowledge about power tools.

Our current trip started in June 2022, since then we have slowly traveled through Central America, Canada, and Colombia, completing 6 different workaways along the way. Here is a little summary of the workaways we have done so far.

Costa Rica, Reception and Admin work in Oasis Hostel, three Weeks:
We were running the Hostel, with 4 other volunteers, while the owner was away.

Costa Rica, Dogsitting, one week:
We were taking care of 4 adult dogs and 5 puppies, preparing their meals, cleaning up after the puppies, and generally cleaning the house and garden area.

Nicaragua, Social Hosts in Hostel Paradiso, three months:
Our tasks included welcoming day guests and guests, showing them around during the day, and creating social activities in the evening, such as Quiz Nights, pool (billiards) tournaments, beer pong, and games nights. Making sure every guest felt included and welcome.

Mexico, helping in a tour operator office, three weeks:
When all the guides were out on the daily excursions, we were present at the office to take reservations and bookings.

Mexico, upkeeping a former eco-lodge property, three weeks:
Our tasks included building a shower and clearing out the garden and the facilities, repairing the roof of the toilet, cleaning up the beach from plastics and seaweed, and general cleaning and gardening of the property.

Canada, luxury wilderness resort, seven months:
We worked hospitality shifts, housekeeping shifts and sometimes entertained children, general maintenance of log cabins; sanding, grinding, painting, chopping down dead trees, some gardening, and generally everything that needed to be done.

Andrew recently completing a TEFL certificate and having been dropped into living in Germany without any previous knowledge of the language and the difficulties that comes with. Is eager to help people learn the English Language and to gain the benefits and greater opportunities that come with having a grasp of a second language.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Qualified cook, hand work and labouring, boat captains license, TEFL qualified with teaching experience, bi-lingual, gardening and farm work experience, bachelors degree in International Sustainable Tourism, content creation and writing experience, knowledge about sustainable practises, extensively travelled with 3 years of work and travel, and Wwoofing, hospitality-work experience.
