Description

Hey there! My name is Anaïs, I fell in love with traveling since my first trip abroad, and I keep exploring the world whenever I can, and dreaming about it whenever I can't :) I lived one year in Spain and four years in Italy, and traveled to various countries including Nepal, India, Java, and Chile.

I'm eager to meet new people from different cultures, get to learn about their lives, their jobs and their passions. Besides, I truly enjoy discovering new landscapes. I'm an outdoors lover, and I spend most of my weekends in the mountains hiking or skiing, climbing and biking. In case of adverse weather, chances are high to find me deeply absorbed in the reading of a book.

I am an animal lover, and I would be especially delighted to take care of your cats, dogs and horses! I have worked in horse ranches, and I am eager to learn more and to improve my horsemanship. I'm also educating a young dog (Beauceron), which got me very interested in positive reinforcement training and ethology. My passion for animals extends to many furry and feathery creatures, I can't wait to meet yours :)

In addition, my small balcony definitely limits my gardening aspirations, and I'd be eager to get some hands-on experience in sustainable agriculture.

I'm open-minded, curious, enthusiastic and easy going; relatively independent, I like sharing quality time with people, while I also appreciate having some time and space on my own. I look forward to learning new skills and to discovering life styles different from mine, to stepping outside of my comfort zone and to living pieces of adventures one after the other in good company :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I worked in horse ranches, where I rode in nature (canyons, valleys, forests, beaches) with tourists during tours and took care of the horses (brushing, saddling, feeding, cleaning). I am very keen on taking care of them and on improving my horsemanship.
I also grew up with cats and love dogs, I'd be delighted to cuddle and play with yours :)

I am fluent in English and French, and would be happy to teach one of these two languages. I can also speak Italian and some Spanish, and would enjoy practicing any of them.

I also have experience in hospitality, and I'd be glad to interact with customers and make sure they enjoy their time.

Besides, I am a handywoman, and as I'm currently renovating my apartment, I have experience in sanding, painting, sawing, drilling, mounting and much more, and I'd be very interested in learning any new manual skills. I also have plenty of plants and enjoy gardening.

I can also give you a hand with computers, as it's part of my job.

More generally, I'm curious and eager to learn new skills!
