We'd like to start our workaway adventure at the beginning of April, in the Pyrénées- Orientales region of France.

With Séverine, I share a love for nature and caring for animals.

I've started doing DYI since about a year ago and loving it. In our previous stay (a community) I created a new port (made from pallets), a chicken hen, a fence between the field where the horses / sheep are and the vegetable garden, an eco toilet, coordinated and worked together to re-form an old shed into a workplace with windows and electricity, and other work. Furthermore, I've created a community vision, mission, values, organizational structure, definition of projects and the coordination thereof to an extent. This was based on the wishes and personality of the residents living in the community.

I work as an online coach (personal coaching and burn-out coaching), which I love doing. Before, I used to work in the field of IT and management, and if asked I could help out with some technical computer-related issues.

When I feel affinity and passion for something, then it's very enjoyable for me to learn new skills. I love sharing knowledge and skills. I enjoy both working independently and together, depending on the type of work. Primarily I'd say I'm a more independent learner/worker. I love interesting conversations and I also love the peacefulness of silence and letting the nature speak.

I love nature and animals, I enjoy contemplating, dreaming, discovering, caring for and living to the rhythm of the seasons...
I want to learn everything about permaculture, syntropic agriculture, being able to produce my own food and then cooking is a great joy for me.

I practice & teach yoga and meditation as a means of turning inward, inner knowledge and returning to oneself.

I love taking care of the living in all its forms:

Through wellness massages and Foot & Cranial Reflexology, which I love to share,
personal contact and service, especially with the elderly and/or people losing their independence (I was a home help for 2 years), working with animals and plants, working for a healthy earth, growing healthy food... Getting back to life, as a circle, getting back to love...

I also love all forms of art:
Painting, ukulele, handpan, singing, juggling ...

After several years of deconditioning, I like to live life not as a goal to be reached, but as the path.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We gained our first experience of collective living for a year in a natural setting with a variety of animals (horses, goats, sheep, chickens, pigs, cats, dogs...). We loved living with them and taking care of them at the same time.

We complement each other quite well (Arno is more interested in DIY, organization and anything he sees as a new interesting field to learn and contribute in, Séverine is interested in learning about plant care and cultivating the land).

We're also interested in eco-construction, so that we can build our homes more economically and responsibly, in harmony with the living world. We had our first experience in Brittany, where we learned how to build a kerterre.

We are eager to learn and share with you in all areas.
