Hey there!

I'm Amaya and my goal is to always be alive with pleasure :+)

I have previously worked as a caretaker for disabled people for almost 3 years and even though I love what I'm doing, it's time to make a change.

In early 2023 I was able to finally come visit down under for the first time, which is something I dreamt of since I was a child. The animals and overall nature + culture I was able to see during my not-so-long stay were just as delightful as I expected, so I decided to come back for an extended Holiday! My visa got approved for 12 months, and I'm planning on spending most of my time volunteering :+)

I'll also take an online course on either art history or how to write books for children (I'm not sure yet!) while I'm traveling, so I'll always have something new to share if you're interested 😊

What else.. I love animals with all my heart, I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty, I really like listening to experimental music and you can always count me in for a trip to the museum of whatever kind!

I'm a non-smoker and I only drink on special occasions, I'm always on time, I'm reliable, respectful, cooperative, flexible and honest

My way of working is goal and solution oriented, but with room for creativity :+)

My first language is German, my english fluent and I'm constantly working on getting better

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Since my job requires me to do a lot of different tasks I'm not really an expert at anything but adapting. On some days I cook and clean, on others I build shelves and look after pets, sometimes I'm required to do some gardening or help someone do paperwork, the list goes on.
Every shift is different but me and my clients have always been able to find a solution :+)
