Hello !
My name is Alice, I’m a 33 years old French woman. I find joy in helping others, taking part of sustainable projects and making new connections.
In my spare time I love to collect plants and use them (for medicinal uses) and dance (ballet dance, contemporary). I love cooking and discovering new ingredients and ways of cooking them.
I had volunteering experiments, in a jazz festival (in charge of environmental issues), in social emergency for people living in the streets and past 2 month in a French sailing association which aim is to depollute oceans and teach children the importance to sort rubbish.
From september 2023 I will be in a “year off” and I dream about going abroad, meet local people and their way of living, getting engaged in environmental causes. Discovering new landscapes, trying different cooking receipes, and immersing myself in local traditions brings me lot of happiness.
It will be a pleasure to share my knowledge, passion, culture and my good mood with you !

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I studied agronomy in France and abroad (Ireland, Italy and Costa Rica). In France I used to be a forestry teacher for 6 years in a vocational high school (how to manage a forest, recognize trees, plant and cut mature trees…). I’ve taught to my students a bit of English and yoga too and brought them abroad thanks to Erasmus programs. Then, I worked for the French agriculture ministry, in the forest service of Normandy, where I was in charge to coordinate a forest network and to guaranty sustainable management in private forests.
As a former teacher, I could give some french lessons, and basic english conversations (because it's not my mother tong). I speak as well spanish.
I use to work on farm, with cows, goats, doing any kind of farming work (milking, cheese making, feeding animals, crop works, fences...) and I like to do gardening.
I'm an open minded women and I like to learn new things so I will be happy to do something new for me !
