Hi there,

I'm Alex and I love travelling and learning about different cultures and people through that.

I've done some travelling before, for example New Zealand in 2018 or parts of Europe after my studies in 2024.

Right now I'm travelling Vancouver Island. Next up for me will be the Rest of BC and then the other side of the Country, starting in Nova Scotia.

I'm always eager to learn new languages, or improve the ones, I already know, as it brings you closer to other cultures and communities. In school I learnt french for a couple of years - unfortunately I lost a lot of that skill over time again. I'd be really interested in learning spanish or italian at some point. Since german is my native language, I could also see myself teaching that to people, that are interested or would just like to refresh their german vocabulary.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have worked as a mechatronical technician, the inbetween of mechanic and electrician. That means, I'm used to working with all sorts of tools and machinery before.

I have already moved a couple of times in Germany, which means I know my ways around all sorts of tasks around a house. When it comes to renovating, painting a Room, assembling furniture or similar things I am definitely equipped to help out.

As a hobby I picked up gardening and everything that comes with it, which means I'm not afraid of getting my hands dirty as well.

Biking is another hobby of mine. Through that and the rest of my expertise, I can also provide help with repairing bikes or other small machines.

Lastly I got into sailing recently and would love to profit off of your expertise and learn more about everything, this hobby brings.
