Description

Hey there 👋 We are Alexa and Frowin, a couple who met while volunteering! After spending the summer tour guiding in Norway, we’re now heading to Central and South America to explore opportunities in eco-tourism, sustainability, wildlife conservation, and hands-on community and permaculture projects.

We’re especially excited to gain more experience in nature-focused and purpose-driven environments, whether that means supporting wildlife rescue efforts or learning from people who live close to the land. 🌿🐾

🍓Meet Alexa

I’m on an exciting new journey and love to be in spaces where people come together to create, share and learn, whether that’s in a thriving garden or out in the wild.

My heart is in edible landscapes. I love foraging, understanding the land and discovering the stories nature has to tell. To me, the best way to experience the world is by getting involved, planting something that will outlive me, guiding others through nature and contributing to projects that make a real impact.

🌍 What I bring to the table:

~ A background in media production and content creation. I’ve led teams in producing video, photography and CGI content and love sharing my skills in photography, videography and social media.
~ Experience working and volunteering in eco-retreats, hostels, surf camps and guesthouses, from reception to bar service, guest engagement and kitchen assistance.
~ An RYT500-certified yoga and meditation teacher, passionate about mindful living and creating uplifting spaces.
~ Fluent in English and Afrikaans, with basic Dutch, German and Spanish. I’m always eager to learn more!

🥾 Meet Frowin

I’m an outdoor enthusiast with a passion for food, farming, and adventure. Originally from Bavaria, I grew up surrounded by mountains, which shaped my love for hiking, skiing, cycling, and working with nature. I also love being creative and using my hands for all kinds of crafts.

I tried my luck with a traditional way of living, but it never really felt like the right fit. Right now, I’m at the beginning of a new path, with more freedom, more happiness and fulfilment. One of my dreams is to one day have my own organic farm, so I’m always eager to learn new skills that bring me closer to that goal.

🌿 What I bring to the table:

~ Hands-on farm & outdoor skills: I love working with my hands and I’m always happy to get stuck into physical work.
~ Passion for food & sustainability: I enjoy cooking, experimenting with local ingredients and learning about farm-to-table practices.
~ Experience as a ski teacher: I’ve taught skiing and love sharing my enthusiasm for outdoor activities.
- Professional electricain: I worked and graduated successfully my apperenticeship as an electrican
~ Native in German, with good English and learning Spanish.

👫Together we’re an enthusiastic, easygoing duo who bring a mix of skills, energy and adaptability. We work just as well as a team as we do individually and are always happy to jump in wherever needed. We want to make the experience as fun and memorable as possible!
