Hello everyone! Klara and Aleksander here :) We are two friends who have just completed our medical studies, and now we are standing at the exciting crossroads of life where the world feels vast and full of possibilities. We want to take some time off to discover ourselves before pursuing our medical career as it the last time we are truly schedule-free.
Both of us share an open-minded spirit and a genuine curiosity for the richness of cultures that make the world. We are extremely social people who love connecting with people from all backgrounds, enjoying conversations that stretch late into the evening, filled with laughter, stories, and personal insights. Our easy-going attitude and talkative nature make it natural for us to build friendships quickly and deeply, embracing every moment with joy and enthusiasm.
Traveling is our shared passion—a way for us to learn and grow outside of the traditional routine. Whether it’s wandering through bustling city streets, exploring tranquil natural landscapes, or savoring flavors of unfamiliar cuisines, we approach each experience with an open heart and a readiness to learn. Klara has a special love for photography, capturing the beauty and unique moments of our adventures through her lens. For me (Aleksander) meditation is a cherished practice, helping to cultivate mindfulness and inner peace amidst new experiences.
This is my (Aleksander’s) third time using Workaway, and honestly, every time has been unforgettable. That’s why I keep coming back for more! For Klara, it’s her first time, and she’s really excited to try out this awesome platform.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Aleksander :
Since my teenage years, I’ve had a variety of part-time jobs, including working as a waiter, doing garden maintenance, caring for animals, working in a warehouse, and on a production line. I’ve also spent time harvesting fruits and vegetables. Additionally, I worked as a biology tutor for three years.

During my first program, I did gardening, handled small household maintenance tasks, and took care of the hosts’ dogs and cats (Scotland) and during my last one ( Greece) I was taking care of 9 dogs and doing some gardening.

Klara:
I have gained valuable experience working in various roles, including as a shop seller, tutor, and teacher. In addition to these positions, I have also cared for children, which has helped me develop patience, responsibility, and strong communication skills.
