Hello! I am a 24 years old girl from Milan, Italy. I come from a big city but I have been living also in a farm in Idaho, USA for one year (where I could go horseriding as much as I wanted, it was a dream!) and also in Helsinki, Finland, in a shared house with 9 other flatmates!
I have been studying a lot in the past years and now I am taking a break before continuing to study more. This summer I had the trip of my life, the Mongol Rally, where I travelled by car from my home in Italy to Oskemen, in Kazahstan, with my family. Since then I decided I want to travel more, but also have an experience of volunteering, helping families or communities in a direct and active way. I have been living in different countries and I am adaptable to cultural differences and shocks. I believe experiencing someone else's culture directly is one of the best way of learning it and of growing.

I would love to learn Spanish, Finnish (since I will soon move to Finland for a long time) and German (to talk with my partner in his native language). In any place I will go I will try to pick up some of the local language, at least as a form of respect for the people hosting me.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have studied biotechnology and microbiology. I have plenty of experience teaching teenagers as a private teacher, helping them in math, English, biology, physics and chemistry. Recently I have been also teaching English to kids in kindergarden, and I am loving it!
I have also experience with activity organization and management, since I volunteered for the international peace promoting association CISV for many years as a teenager myself. I have also worked in a laboratory, I have been teacher assistant in a laboratory course and I have been sales assistant in a natural products shop.
I am very patient, I have the ability of problem solving and I am overall very enthusiast!

Autres infos...

I love to have adventures, and the classical way of travelling as a tourist is in my opinion good only for a weekend. The thing I love the most is learning about new culture and cultural exchange.
