Hi, I'm Aina.
Currently travelling the world with my partner, getting to know the nooks and corners of this planet. Trying to keep a slow pace so we can immerse ourselves in the experience and connect with the places we reach and the people we meet.

I would describe myself as follows: Open hearted and open minded. funny. sincere. empathetic. free spirited. creative. spontaneus. flexible. interested. team spirited. generous. caring. loyal. inquisitive.

I enjoy spending time with people having a laugh or a deep conversation. Being in nature, having a walk in the forest, a swim in the lake or sea or just sit and enjoy the sound and view calms me down and gives me strength. As much as i like to hang out and read a book I like to go on an adventure and explore. I like hiking, dancing and have been doing yoga for over 7 years now. I do scuba dive and want to get further in my practice, so i will try do go diving as much as possible. I'm A cat person through and through (of course I like all the animals).

I am currently on a path of discovering my own creativity and am trying out a lot of things. I am really interested in textiles and have tried a lot of things such as sewing, knitting and embroidery. I love doing collages and mixed media stuff and am trying to draw a lot to improve my skills. I also discovered my interest in photography and videography. I am thinking of studiying art when i iget back so im trying to improve my skills and getting to know new fields and techniques. Any exchange is more than welcome.

I am a curious person and am eager to get to know my surroundings and learn new things. I'm always up for new experiences and am likely to say yes if you try to hook me up for a workshop, exploring the nearby landscapes or learning a new dance move or just a new challenge in some unfamiliar work field. I am a hands on person and like to get my hands dirty and am not afraid of physical work. I am a fast learner and so i am of help, even in fields i have no previous experience in. My interests in working fields are broad, i see every new challenge as an opportunity to expand my skills and knowledge.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am a certified Social Worker and have worked in various fields of social work such as working with disabled people, in a youth home, in child protection services and lastly with teenagers in a communitiy center, providing a space for them to spend their free time at. I also co hosted creative workshops for kids, helped organizing events and courses for the neighborhood, supported in the kitchen and managed the social media account (mainly instagram) and communication (mainly creating Flyers, Posters etc. for events and visibility) for the community center. Apart from that I was able to collect experience in other fields such as: Bartending and Tablewaiting at different restaurants, Hospitality and Customer Service at a big E-Commerce company.

As a teen and young adult i used to be a scout, so i know something of being outdoors, making a fire in the bushes and putting up a tent (though i havent used those skills in a long time). I used to do horse riding, so i know my way around a stable. I know somewhat of textiles, I can sew, knit and embroidery and would say i am somewhat of a good cook.
