Traveling makes me happy because it forces me to be introspective and constantly adapt to my surroundings which can be challenging at times but rewarding.

Another thing that makes me happy is the ability to accept transience and truly enjoy the moment or moments in time.

Tennis is another passion that brings me happiness as I'm staying healthy, making friends and constantly being pushed to play well but have fun.

Lastly my (chosen) family brings me happiness AND motivates me to follow my passions.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am a jack of all trades and master of none. I love learning on the job but also have common sense. By trade I am a marine biologist and am trained in trial and error through method, procedure and results. Although science doesn't always cover the bills and I have lots of experience in the hospitality industry as a server, bartender and housekeeping. I love being with people but I also enjoy and relish in my own space and just being in nature. I have managed groups of people and I have been parts of groups. I enjoy leading and teaching people but love watching people grow and learn on their own as well. I am a natural helper and hope that I can make a difference, no matter how small.

I have been fortunate enough to have traveled for work. I have experienced a lot of tropical places like Caribbean islands on sailboats, touristy places in Central America, South East Asia, Hawaii and Oceania. I have also traveled in colder areas like Scotland for my Masters in Marine Conservation and Alaska to work with sock eye salmon. Traveling has opened my eyes to so many different cultures, kind people from those areas but also fellow travelers. I have found that each time I travel, I find myself a little more. I am grateful for all my experiences, good and bad or mediocre, and will continue to keep an open mind and kind heart to all those I met. I hope our paths will cross one day!
