Description

We are a curious and passionate family (2 adults + 15 months baby) who finds happiness in the simple things — cooking together, being outdoors, playing with our son, pratice sports, meeting new people, and learning from every place we visit.

We feel most alive when we’re surrounded by nature, when we can help others, and when we see our son discovering the world with his big smile. Traveling is not just about places for us — it's about sharing, growing, and making meaningful connections.

We are motivated by the idea of contributing to others' lives, exchanging stories and skills, and leaving each place a little better than we found it. These are the moments that give us purpose and joy. ;))

Yes! We love learning new languages and are also happy to teach the ones we speak. Amanda speaks Portuguese, Spanish, Catalan, English and a bit of Italian, and Jordi speaks Catalan, Spanish, English and a bit of Portuguese. We’d love to improve our English while traveling, and we’re happy to help others practice Spanish or Portuguese in return. Language is a beautiful way to connect with people, and we really enjoy sharing and learning through conversation. Our son is growing up in a multilingual home, so we’re especially excited to share language in natural, everyday moments.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We’re a proactive and adaptable couple with a background in Physical Education and a passion for healthy, active living.

Amanda has experience in hospitality, digital marketing and guest services. She managed a historical Airbnb guesthouse for two years and also worked as a fitness instructor on cruise ships. She enjoys organizing, cooking (especially healthy meals), cleaning, and creating a welcoming environment.

Jordi is a certified triathlon and running coach, with experience helping people of all ages improve their physical condition. He works online a few hours a week, which gives us flexibility. He’s also skilled at small repairs, outdoor maintenance, and enjoys working with his hands.

We’re both used to leading group activities, helping with kids, and working in a team. We love to cook, keep spaces clean and cozy, and help where needed. We’re always open to learning new things and putting love into everything we do.

If you’re open to hosting a small family, we’ll bring not just hands to help — but also energy, kindness, and joy.

We love staying active and spending time outdoors — walking, hiking, swimming, and exploring nature as a family. Amanda enjoys tennis, reading, photography, and discovering local food and recipes. Jordi is passionate about triathlon and endurance sports, and he’s always happy to share training tips or playlists.

And of course… we love sharing stories over a good home-cooked meal :)
