Description

Hi, my name is Chris, I am 64 years old and a retired Police Officer. Since retirement I have done a lot of travelling to 'bucket list' destinations. In addition to travel, my main hobbies are motorcycle touring, cooking, especially bread making, reading, politics and film. I have done a lot of volunteering since I retired both in the UK as a school governor and more recently with international refugee charities, working in France (Calais), Poland, Moldova, Cyprus and Turkey. I live in the beautiful city of Exeter in SW England with my wife, Tracey, and our son, Harry (19). We have 2 dogs and just love animals. Prior to moving to Exeter in 2022 we lived in rural Cornwall for 20 years where we ran a smallholding keeping chickens, ducks, geese, sheep and pigs. Now we have none! So we are used to physical labour and the outdoor way of life. We also have good friends who run a dairy farm just outside hamburg, Germany and we have all visited and worked there several times.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Previously kept sheep, pigs, chickens, duscks and geese. Used to all animals both farm and domestic. Lived on a smallholding so used to physical labour, tree felling and log splitting etc. We have friends with a dairy farm outside Hamburg, Germany and have often worked on the farm to support them.

I have completed a variety of volunteer roles with international refugee agencies and have worked in Calais, Poland, Moldova, Cyprus and Turkey.
