Bonjour, hello, holà !

We're two francophones on their way to Patagonia looking for meaningful encounters and skill exchanges. We're both fluent in English but really willing to practice Spanish. Marianne is an entrepreneur and hairdresser working with kids, while Clément is an engineer specialized in computer sciences. We've been living in our self-built van for the past months and are almost self-sufficient (water-wise, we're looking for ideas).

We're passionate about climbing and being outdoor, and everything thrilling in between! We're very people-driven and love the excitement of new discoveries. We're always on the lookout for new food and discovering your culture. We think we make an awesome birria and would love to get your feedback!

Sustainability, ecological/self-construction and permaculture are projects that we have great interests in. We're both fast-learners, creative and able to work with what's available. While building our van we developed skills in carpentry, electricity, plumbery. We touched base with electronic and mechanic and we'd love to learn more about all those skills.

We're always down for a good challenge or simply hang out and exchange about our past experiences! Can't wait to get to know you!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Through her work experience, Marianne is easy going with kids. She built her business from scratch and can be a great help with any entrepreneurship-related tasks. She's also handy with a sewing machine, and is an amazing cook. She studied in infographics, so she masters softwares such as Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator.

Clément has a master degree in applied mathematics and computer sciences. For the past three years, he worked around the world in IT and is very proficient with website building, task automation and process optimization. He also has knowledge in artificial intelligence. Beside this, he is very tempered and a great listener. He grew up in a farming family and is comfortable with most farming-related tasks.

The both of us are curious, problem-solving orientated and great team players. We know how to use the basic carpentry tools and we have some knowledge in solar-powered electrical systems and basic plumbing. We initiated many of our friends to climbing and would love to share this passion !

Autres infos...

We're traveling with many board games and are keen to play ! We're into electronic music and dj-ing, mostly ambient and drone sounds. We'd like to climb a 4000m+ peak during the trip and are looking for partners/knowledge. We have a great interest in mixology and make great cocktails ! Clement is also into motorcycles and scuba-diving and on her part Marianne loves arts especially sculpture and can teach about mould-making.
