  Description

  The Hostel opened since august 2016 is a backpacker’s accommodation placed in the heart of the Araucania Andina. Surrounded by volcanoes, national parks, rivers and 2 km away from the small town of Malalcahuello.
  The hostel, build out of shipping containers, with a big common room, 30 m2 sheared kitchen where every guest is allowed to cook, a bar and a fireplace that warm up our hot water and central heating. Our guests will stay in one of our 6 four shared rooms (2 queen size bunk beds each), all with private toilets and central heating, also one doubles room with private toilet.

  Travellers will have the chance to experience life in a natural environment, close to national parks and shearing with the local culture.

  Proactivity is number one request for the job! Tasks will be such as Reception (answering e-mails, answering social network questions, take bookings, smile to people). Sometimes helping create and develop events. Outside work can be gardening, moving firewood, watering the veggie garden/greenhouse.

  Hébergement

  Volunteers will have a bed in a 4-people sheared room with private toilet (one of our hostel’s room). In the kitchen, that is fully implemented, each one will have a fridge basket and a non-refrigerated locker. Food will be provided by the hostel and who cooks it will depend on our time schedule and personal cooking skills.

  Activities:
  Summer time is MTB time in Malalcahuello. As hosts, we are focusing in increase the offer and knowledge about bicycling in the valley. Trekking, kayaking, horse riding and bird watching are another of the most popular activities in Malalcahuello.
