Description
We live on a rural bushland property about 1hr north of Sydney in the beautiful Hunter Valley. We are homesteading and have goats, sheep, ducks, chickens, turkeys, geese and a dog. We work from home online and in our spare time are busy with lots of projects like building a greenhouse, looking after the animals and other vegetable gardening.

Sustainable Farming Practices: Learn hands-on about natural sequence farming.
Activities: Archery, hiking / bushwalking
Wildlife and Environment: See wallabies, kangaroos, wombats, eagles, possums, gliders, bats and birds.
Cooking: Learn to bake bread, make jam, yoghurt and much more from the seasonal produce
Local Culture: Visit Mt Yengo lookout, historic Wollombi town, The Great North Trading Post, many bush tracks and trails with spectacular views and national parklands.
Knowledge Sharing: We offer insights into innovative and traditional farming methods, fostering a collaborative and educational environment.
Our goal is to create a space where guests can learn new skills, connect with nature, and leave with meaningful memories. Whether helping with livestock, planting crops, or exploring creative projects, visitors are welcomed as part of the farm community.Aide
We are looking for help tending to the animals, cutting down some plants, building a greenhouse, making firewood, fixing fences, building a cabin, vegetable gardening and many more projects.

Guests will stay in a spacious and comfortable six-person blackout tent, which keeps the interior cool and dark even during daylight hours. The tent is tall enough to stand inside and is equipped with interior lighting. It features a queen-size foam-core mattress, and all bedding and linens are provided to ensure a cozy and restful stay.
Adjacent to the tent, there’s a 4.5 x 4.5-meter gazebo with two tables, a gas bottle, a gas cooker, and all necessary cookware, including pots and pans. Guests also have access to the house kitchen for additional cooking needs.
Our farm offers an abundance of fresh and high-quality food. The freezer is stocked with meats like lamb, goat, chicken, and duck, and we bake our own bread regularly. The vegetable garden provides seasonal produce such as lettuce and beans, with other essentials available in the fridge from the supermarket. We aim to ensure that guests have everything they need for a comfortable and nourishing stay.Autres infos...
You will need a car to get to our place as there is no public transport. Best is if you have 4x4 for getting around on the farm. There's quite a few good tracks to explore, we are surrounded by state Forest and national park, so lots to do in nature.
