  Description

  Hello,
  
  We are a family of four: Nico, who works on our farm; Aline, who works remotely for a non-profit scientific society; and our two children, Kaïna, who is 7, and Ilan, who is 5.
  
  We live in the countryside. There is no public transportation and no mobile phone network, but we do have internet. Therefore, we are looking for someone who loves nature and doesn’t need to be in a city.
  
  We have a big garden with a jacuzzi and hammocks, and during the summer we set up a pool for the children that is large enough for adults as well—you are of course welcome to enjoy it too. If you like, you can also camp some nights in nature; we have a beautiful spot in the middle of the forest with a fireplace.
  
  Nico speaks French and a bit of Spanish and German. Aline is fluent in French, English, and Spanish, and has some knowledge of German. Kaïna and Ilan speak French and are starting to learn English and German.
  
  We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you into our family.

  We hope to learn about your culture and language, and we can also teach you ours, as well as how to live and work on a small organic farm.
  
  We are trying to practice permaculture in our garden, and if you are interested, we could work on it together.
  
  We try to eat as much organic food as possible, and our meals are always local and seasonal. We bake our own bread, make our own yogurt, and prepare many other homemade dishes. We would be happy to teach you.

  Aide

  We are looking for a traveler to take care of our children during the summer holidays—playing with them, speaking to them in English or another language, and helping broaden their minds about different cultures and travel. We love traveling ourselves, but we do it less now with the children.
  
  If you are coming with your partner or a friend, one of you could take care of the children, and the other could help on the farm with the animals—we have cows, chickens, ducks, and cats—or in the garden, as well as in the fields. We are growing vegetables for our family (not for sale), but we are still learning. It would also be great if you could help with cooking from time to time.
  
  There is always a lot to do in a house, and even more on a farm, so if you have other ideas, talents, or would prefer to do something else, we are open to discussion. However, as mentioned, our main priority is to keep our children engaged during the summer.

  Hébergement

  We have a separate apartment available with a double room, a kitchen, and a bathroom, so we could host a couple or friends traveling together. As we have two kitchens, we could either all eat together or, if you prefer some quiet time after a day of work, you could also eat on your own. This is flexible and can be discussed.

  During your free time, you can hike in the surrounding area, relax on the farm, camp in the forest, or we can drive you to the train station if you’d like to go elsewhere and explore the country.
  
  The closest city where we live is Neuchâtel, it has a beautiful lake.
