  Description

  My name is Cormac and my wife Bren and I live on a 2 acre property near Athenry, Co. Galway. We moved into our house which is over 200 years old about two years ago . The house is located about 20 minutes car drive from Athenry and Loughrea and there is a a train station at Attymon (15 min cycle) and Woodlawn (23 min cycle) which will connect you to the major cities. Galway city is a short train journey from our nearest station. We have 4 dogs, 2 cats and some chickens and ducks. We are hoping to host Workawayers who wish to help out with some garden and house projects and the daily tasks of minding our animals. We have two spare bedrooms and a shared bathroom. The local area is rich in history and cultural sights and activities

  Workawayers are welcome to use our home as a base to engage in any social activities they wish in the area. They may borrow our bikes to travel to the train station and can come with us when driving to various locations around Ireland. We are fluent English speakers and happy to chat. We look forward to meeting people who are visiting the area.

  Aide

  We spend some of our free time working on our old house which needs some love to bring it back to it's former glory. We have chickens and ducks and sometimes have garden projects to keep them from breaking out! The gardens extend to 2 acres and require a lot of upkeep. In addition we have fruit and veg for those who enjoy a bit of horticulture.

  Hébergement

  We offer a clean bedroom which can be locked and a shared bathroom facility. Workawayers can avail of our kitchen and sitting room and other areas to do laundry etc. We will provide meals (breakfast, dinner & small meals) and hope to share cooking with our visitors.

  We have family in Dublin and the Midland in Ireland and our guests would be able to use our extended family and our network to enhance the breadth of their experience while here. Looking forward to hosting and meeting those looking to Ireland for their next adventure.
