Description
Hi everyone. (japanese below)
We purchased the long-sought old folk house in the spring of 2021. The place is Miasa in Omachi City, Nagano Prefecture.
It is a very beautiful place where you can see the Northern Alps.
We are a French and Japanese couple. We are proceeding with the renovation work of the old folk house by ourselves.
Our basis is to renovate by utilizing materials such as waste materials as much as possible.
Be kind to the earth and be able to return to nature. That's a very good idea, but I can't do 100%, so I'm doing it with a feeling of about 80%.
Since we bought the house, Noriko and I are almost busy every day by the renovation.
But after work, we can relax and you can also visit the surrounding areas during your days off.
I think working together on the house is a pleasant and interesting time.
Don't forget to check our availabilities on the calendar!
Please contact me if you are interested.
I am looking for meeting many people.
Thank you ◎

I went directly to François and Noriko places as soon as I came to Japan and stayed for almost a month. It was definitely the best idea. They welcome me very well in their Japanese traditional home (Komika) that they are currently renovating while both having a part time job. I learned so much of Japanese culture… read more
He’s help was not only renovating but also when he cooked chilean meals and help to design our future house.
We wish the best to Hide for his aventures in Chili.
They were renovating while living in the tough winter environment and I got a very good inspiration from them. And they do an eco-friendly construction work and life as much as possible, and I just learned every day. And their hospitality is warm and I appreciate it.
