    As a family of five, we love involving our guests in our daily routines. We can offer social activities like cooking traditional Indonesian meals together and visiting local traditional markets.

    We also occasionally engaging in sharing activities for those in need in our neighborhood or on the streets. This might include sharing small meals, snacks, or basic groceries. It is a personal activity, and we would be very happy if you would like to join us in these small acts of kindness to see the real daily life and the genuine smiles of the people in our city!.

    We are happy to share our knowledge of the Indonesian language, Javanese language, and local traditions. In return, we hope to practice our English and learn about your home country’s culture and way of life.

    The Project / Help Needed
    We are looking for a friendly volunteer to help us with:
    ★General Maintenance
    Helping us keep the house tidy, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing things.
    ★Language Exchange
    Practicing English (or your native language) with us.
    ★Teaching kids
    Teaching math and English in a fun way by giving them quizzes, games, or creative challenges.
    ★Creative Help
    Cooking, Mobil photography/sharing skills along the way.

    Help is needed for around 5 hours a day, 5 days a week. We want to make sure you have a great balance, between helping us and enjoying your own travel time to explore our city and the surrounding areas.

    What’s in it for you?
    In exchange for your help, we provide:
    ★Accommodation: A shared room (staying with me/my sister) equipped with a fan and WiFi. There is also a shared bathroom available for your use.
    ★Meals: We provide [3 meals a day] and we often cook traditional Indonesian dinners together or if you WANT to buy ingredients I will cook something delicious meals for you (when today's menu doesn't suit you).
    ★Local Experience: I’ll show you the best hidden gems in town that tourists don't usually see!

    ★Transport
    For getting around, you can easily use Grab (both motorbikes and cars) or try our traditional local transport, the Becak.
    Sightseeing: I can take you around on my own motorbike, but I kindly ask for a petrol contribution.
    ★Regarding laundry, we don't have a washing machine, but you have two options:
    1. Self-service: You can hand-wash your clothes yourself using your own detergent. We provide hangers and a drying area.
    2. Shared laundry: I can hand-wash your clothes together with mine, but you must provide the detergent and help by hanging all the laundry and taking them down once they are dry.

    HOME GUIDELINES FOR OUR GUESTS (。⁠◕⁠‿⁠◕⁠。)

    1. (Female Only)
    Due to the shared room arrangement with the host/sister, we only accept female volunteers.
    2. (Dress Code)
    Feel free to dress casually and comfortably, but please avoid wearing crop tops, hot pants, or bikinis in common areas or outside the house.
    3. (No Shoes Inside)
    Please take off your shoes or slippers before entering the house.
    4. (Shared Room Etiquette)
    Please keep your bed and personal area tidy. Avoid spreading clothes or luggage across the floor.
    5. (Privacy & Guests)
    No outside guests, friends, or strangers are allowed inside the bedroom or to stay overnight.
    6. (Curfew & Quiet Hours)
    Please be home by [10 PM]. If you plan to stay out late, please let us know in advance. After 10 PM, please keep noise to a minimum so everyone can rest.
    7. (Bathroom Usage)
    We share a bathroom. Please clean up after yourself and do not leave personal toiletries scattered around.
    8. (Kitchen Etiquette)
    Please wash your own dishes and cutlery immediately after use.
    9. (Keep it Tidy)
    Always return any items or tools to their proper place so the house stays organized.
    10. (Save Energy)
    Always turn off the lights and fan when leaving the room or when not in use. Let's be mindful of energy.
    11. (House Chores)
    Help is expected for 5 hours a day (sweeping, mopping, organizing). We will agree on the schedule together daily.
    12. (Content Creation)
    Since you will uploading our daily life, please ask for permission before taking or posting photos that include family members' faces.
    13. (Smoking & Alcohol)
    Smoking is allowed, but only in an open space. Please keep it away from the children and never smoke inside the bedroom/bathroom. No alcohol consumption are allowed inside the house.
    14. (Communication)
    Please use kind language, and be friendly with children and cats.
