  Description

  HI! We are Kristina, Paolo and Vittoria, our daughter of almost 8 y.o. And also Mela and Cesare, Maremmano dogs, 6 cats and 4 chicken.
  
  In July 2019 we moved from Rome to the beautiful Farnese countryside (on the border between Tuscany and Lazio). We are very excited about our new lifestyle, about being an active part of the nature and we are learning a lot from it. In this beautiful land life is slow, quiet, stressless and people are kind, helpful and pure.
  
  We live in an old stone country house, which is 2,5km west from the Farnese Town. Our property, just at the border with the Selva del Lamone Natural reserve, is 9 hectares wide and includes the picturesque Olpeta river with its beautiful waterfalls.
  
  Kristina - I am a documentary photographer, I love discovering places, people and I feel myself a citizen of the Universe. Paolo - authentic Roman guy who had always dreamed about a countryside life, he loves gardening, constructing and planning new projects on our land.
  Vittoria is a smart energic girl, she loves animals, sports and her life is all about magic.
  
  
  
  WHO WE WOULD LIKE TO HOST
  
  We believe that meeting new friends from all over the world is an opportunity for our interior growth. We would like to host guests for our human experience, to meet the world in our small world.
  
  We work a lot during the week and unfortunately we spend a lot of time outside the house. Vittoria attends an International school in Viterbo (40 km away) and we have alternatively take her there, leaving early in the morning and coming back in the late afternoon. Paolo works three days a week in Rome and Kristina often travels for her projects. It could be a chance for our guest to have some silent moments alone in the middle of the nature as well as an opportunity to move around with us.
  
  We would like to host conscious travellers who love nature and simple lifestyle, respectful of all kinds of humans and animals. Our perfect guest is independent (cooking, moving, exploring) and openminded, not afraid of staying in the middle of our "nowhere" place.
  
  Since we can't spend a lot of time at home, you need to have basic gardening skills in order to be independent. We need all kinds of expertise related to coutryside, so guests experts in gardening, constructing and permaculture are very very welcome!!!
  
  We are also happy to welcome families !
  
  WHICH HELP WE NEED
  
  We need constant help with our permaculture vegetable garden and just maintenance of the area around the house, and urgent help with "healing space" on the panoramic hill behind our house where we have our bio lake and olive trees, we have to plant lots of trees there, construct a sustainable kitchen, a compostable toilet, tents and make it a comfortable and inviting place for hosting nice people.
  
  Some housekeeping is also among our necessities.
  
  
  WHAT WE OFFER
  
  We offer accommodation (a room with private bathroom) in our house on shirt term (1 week) since we only have two rooms and Vittoria has to move from hers (she is happy to offer it). If you have a camper you can stay for long periods.
  
  We offer vegetarian (sometimes fish) food (but often you have to cook yourself), no meet is welcome. We'll be happy to share activities with our friends, day travels and experiences.
  
  The guest might be provided with a bicycle and be anyway driven by us to the town where he/she can take a bus to all the directions.
  
  It is difficult for us to plan more than two months ahead, but we can try, especially if you are a family travelling with kids!

  You will be immersed in the middle of the nature, between Tuscany and Lazio, right in front of the Selva del Lamone natural reserve, plenty of waterfalls and small rivers. At the same time Rome, Florence, Siena, Viterbo, Orvieto, Grosseto and many other typical Italian towns are located in short distances. The Tirrenian coast is just 40 min away and the beautiful Bolsena lake - 20 minutes.

  during your spare time you can go to the sea, the Selva del Lamone natural reserve, have bath in the waterfalls (walking distance), travel around Lazio, Tuscany and Umbria regions, visit small and bigger towns and cities (Rome, Florence, Siena, Orvieto, Viterbo etc), go to the Bolsena lake, or just enjoy the silence and the magic of our place. We are also go to Rome weekly, so you can come with us.

  we have two dogs, a male and a female. The male could be unfriendly with other males. So female dogs are welcome anytime but a heat could be a problem. Your dog needs to be respectful with cats and chicken who are free to move around our house. Pets are not aloud to enter inside the house.
