We have opened a charming Homestay in a splendid house in Rajasthan, India.
We are 2 childhood friends and we run our homestay in a familiar way, in a convivial and relaxed atmosphere.
In order to offer our guests a touch of "French touch", we are looking for volunteers who can help us train, advise and supervise our local team and promote local tourism opportunities.
Nous avons ouvert des chambres/table d'hôtes de charme dans une splendide demeure, dans le Rajasthan en Inde.
Nous sommes 2 amis d'enfance et nous gérons notre endroit de façon familiale, dans une ambiance conviviale et décontractée.
Dans le souci d'offrir à nos convives une touche de "savoir vivre à la Française", nous recherchons des volontaires pouvant nous aider à former, conseiller et superviser notre équipe locale et valoriser les richesses touristiques de la région.

The cultural exchange is guaranteed by immersion in India, in a region - Shekhawati - also called "open-air museum" where cultural tourism develops.
We are also working to safeguard this unique Shekhawati heritage by setting the example with the restoration of our place because the local actors are not really aware of this heritage, which is destroyed and disappears unfortunately little by little.
We receive nearly 3,000 visitors a year to whom we convey this desire to safeguard this architectural and cultural heritage.
As a volunteer among us you will be able to participate in this great information and safeguarding project.
L'échange culturel est garanti par l'immersion en Inde, dans une région - le Shekhawati - aussi appelé "musée à ciel ouvert" où se développe un tourisme culturel.
Nous travaillons également pour la sauvegarde de ce patrimoine unique du Shekhawati, en donnant l'exemple avec la restauration de notre endoit, car les différents acteurs locaux ne sont pas vraiment conscient de ce que ce patrimoine, qui est détruit et disparait malheureusement peu à peu.
Nous recevons près de 3000 visiteurs par an à qui nous transmettons ce désir de sauvegarde de cet héritage architectural et culturel.
En tant que volontaire parmi nous vous pourrez participer à ce grand projet d'information et de sauvegarde.
Aide
Multiple profiles are possible:
• You have management experience and you can stay for several months: supervise the operation of the place.
• You know how to manage a house: you can help with the Housekeeping, to make perfect this unique place.
• You like the contact with the customers and you have the eye so that everything is nice.
On the spot you will find already 1 or 2 student in history of art, who takes care of the cultural part of our place.
PLEASE NOTE: NO STAY of 1 or 2 WEEKS.
Plusieurs profils sont possibles :
• Vous avez un peu d'expérience et pouvez rester plusieurs mois : venez superviser le bon fonctionnement de la endoit.
• Vous savez gérer des chambres d'hôtes : vous pourrez apporter votre aide sur la partie Chambre / Intendance, pour nous aider à garder ce lieu exceptionnel.
• Vous aimez le contact avec les clients et vous avez l'œil pour que tout soit nickel.
Sur place vous retrouverez déjà 1 ou 2 étudiant(e) en histoire de l'art, qui s'occupent de la partie culturelle et restauration/conservation de notre lieu.
ATTENTION : NOUS NE PRENONS PAS DE SÉJOURS de 1 ou 2 SEMAINES.

Hébergement
Accommodation in a single room with shared or private bathroom subject to availability.
Essentially vegetarian meal that we all take together and with customers if they wish.
Comfort to European standards.

Repas essentiellement végétarien que nous prenons tous ensemble et avec les clients si ils le souhaitent.

She is wonderful, inventive, fast and very talented in the kitchen.
Our daily life has completely changed with her and she has brought a new breath to our kitchen.
