Description
A renovated large country house set in 40 acres of gardens, fields and forests on the edge of Mountaine Noir. 40 minutes from Carcassonne 50 minutes from Toulouse and 20 minutes from Revel. Perfect base for mountain biking and hiking with beautiful views of the Pyrenees.
The house is rented out in July and August but we would love to have some great people come to stay with us before and after this period.
We are a couple in our early 50ies that need a few hours a day (not week end) to help with the garden, forestry and dry stone walling. Free food and wifi. Double room (or extra bed if required) and bathroom. I am from Norway but speak fluent English and are working on my French. Would also love workaday guests to help me with my French!!

Fantastic area for outdoor activities and visiting all the cultural towns and sites in the area. English, French and Norwegian language exchange. I love to cook and bake and it will be great to have workaday guests to practice on.

I stayed with Mette for just over 2 weeks. The photos of her home don't do it justice, the view really is spectacular and the rooms are all good sizes with lovely high ceilings. Mette is extremely easy to get on with, interesting and intelligent you won't be lost for good conversation when she's around.… read more
