  Description

  Hi everyone, my name is Sofia im a horse veterinarian and with my husband Matías we run a polo farm in josé Ignacio, Uruguay. Its a very beautifull place sorrounded by nature, 15 minutes away from the beach and the exclusive town josé ignacio, and 40 min away from the famous punta del Este. During the polo season in summer (nov-march) we train horses, play polo and recieve the tourists that want to learn the game, or go out for a ride and have a good “uruguayan asado”. If you like horses, dogs, being outdoors and social activities its your place to visit.

  Here you can learn spanish we all speak also english, discover our local customes, share a lot with family and friends because we are very social people and the house is normally hosting events like barbacues with people that play spanish guitar singing folklore (local gaucho music), we go houses of other members of the family too, you will get to see many tourists and see profesional polo players play in the tournaments we participate.
  And also you can learn and see our horse skills and veterinarian skills.

  Aide

  As i mentioned earlier in the summer season we are pretty bussy with activities so im looking a girl/woman (18-35 years) to help me take care of my lovely 5 year old daughter Mila and spend time with her, playing, exploring outdoors, and teaching her english, thats my main requirement. It would be a pleasure to welcome someone nice, gentle , with simple good manners into our home, share our daily life and enjoy out leisure time together.
  The person will be having daily contact with horses, veterinarian skills and polo if they want to learn, accompany to my work, ride or learn to ride… many activities we do with Mila and now she can have someone that speakS to her only in english (native) so she learns the language .

  we offer accomodation in our main house in the bedroom with Mila, were we have two beds, she is a very friendly nice kid and sleeps through the night, food is included with us, it would be like being part of the family and very respectfull. We can offer some pocket money for days off.

  in your free time you can go to the beach, visit local towns , enjoy outdoors, we are not in a easy spot to take a bus but we can coordinate drop offs in bus stations.
