  Description

  We are a small, creative household in the charming town of Sangerhausen, located just south of the Harz mountains. I’m Rosa (38), living in my grandparents’ house where we host Workawayers. My mum Birgit (64) and her husband Jürgen (68) live next door, and my two lovely cats Luna and Gaia live with me.
  
  Our home is spacious and cozy, with a music room, a library full of books, and lots of room for creative projects. We are developing a permaculture garden and a small food forest, and love to live in harmony with nature.

  Staying with us is a chance to experience life in a small German town and explore the beautiful Harz region. We love sharing gardening knowledge, cooking together with fresh ingredients, and exchanging ideas about sustainability and permaculture.

  Aide

  We are looking for kind, easy-going helpers who enjoy nature, animals, and helping with their hands. Your tasks will mainly include:
  
  Helping in the garden (depending on the season – planting, weeding, mulching, harvesting)
  
  Light household tasks like tidying, cleaning, or organising
  
  Caring for Luna and Gaia when I’m out
  
  You’ll help around 3–5 hours per day, weekends off. No special skills required – just a willingness to learn and be part of the household.

  Hébergement

  You will have a choice between:
  
  Shared bedroom with two single beds (also suitable for couples)
  
  Single bedroom if you prefer more privacy
  
  You’ll also have access to our library, music room, garden, and a peaceful outdoor area to relax after work.
  
  Meals are included – we love cooking and eating together, but we also share cooking tasks so everyone feels at home.

  Autres infos...

  Our property feature several housing units. You will be hosted in Rosa's house. On the property lives her mum with husband and a couple of neighbours as well. So you might see other people around.
  
  Sangerhausen can be reached by train. The train station is 15 min walk away from the property. There's a lot of nature walks around here and historical things to discover.

  It is important to be mindful about the use of electricity and internet in our house. 2-3 hours of work per day is ok but please do not come if you need to be online 8 hours per day. We can provide you with a desk for more comfort.
