  Description

  Hello it's Margherita , 61 years old, I live in Sicily at Etna vulcano feet and close to Taormina ( 10 kms) , in a lemon grove in front of the Jonian sea. In this place there Is my Cultural Association" .
  
  I host unless for 1 month and I need help in mainteining harmony around the Cultural Association " that Is inside the old fashion sicilian country house, a quite place away from the city , very calm in Winter and also in Summer even if the beach Is very crowdy. It's a family house where sometimes we host friends Who come for our activities or for the Sea with the Campervans , Tents, or in the Mobilhome .
  
  I Need volunteers since 10 August ( Better if you travel with your car ) with experience in cleanings and gardening, Who love dogs, Building , Carpentry, Fixing, Idraulic, Painting (metal fences, windows).
  I prefer to host a couple or two Friends because this Is an independent hospitality. Better if you travel by car ,especially if you want to visit around because we haven't public transport here , only the train at 7 kms far , to visit the cityes .
  
  I offer hospitality in change of only 3 hours help ( usually it's 5-6 hours work) x 5 days and 2 days rest and I don't provide for food . You can use a shared kitchen and you can buy and cook your food.
  This Is an Independent hospitality for people that like to be helpful and have a lot of free time to rest ,visit or It could be pleasant for volunteers that come to relax and also concentrate (write a book, walk, work on internet ,make photos, read books, study ecc).
  Of course shall be a pleasure for me to share meals with you sometimes , and you are invited to participate for free to my Dancetheatre , Feldenkrais organic and healthy movement and traditional dance classes .
  At the Moment I prefer to host couples or two Friends , I prefer a long stay and especially volunteers who travel with they own car.
  
  It Is not a community or an ecological project. I live here and in Winter I work in My Feldenkrais and Dancetheatre studio . In Summer the holistic activities are closed but you can enjoy the Sea and visit around Etna nature and art.
  If you want to visit ,public transport Is not available, I can bring you and pick you up to the Fiumefreddo di Sicilia Train station (7 kms far from home) that connects you to the main cities (Catania,Siracusa, Palermo, Messina). If you want to visit nature (Etna, Alcantara Gorges, Peloritani Mountains ) you need a car or pay a taxi.
  
  I host you in a van with electricity, hot water and you have your own van, not shared with other volunteers . There Is a commun area with shared kitchen where you can cook when and what you want and a shared bathroom with the shower and hot water , and outside cold showers .
  At 1 km and half you can find a village(Fondachello) with many bars, restaurants, pizzeria, you can drink good beer, and find many local tourists.

  I can exchange helpers with hospitality in a very big and comfortable campervan with heating or a tent and they can use shared bathroom and kitchen.

  We live in a farm in front of the Jonian sea , but there aren't bus or any transport to the train station of Fiumefreddo di Sicilia. I can bring workers to the train station or bus when they have a day off .Helpers here can visit Etna and little Etneian towns, Taormina with the archeological interests, enjoy holidays at the sea in a queit place in nature ,visit Catania,Acireale, Acitrezza, Aci castello, Savoca, Alcantara Valley naturalistic trekking.
  
  How to arrive:
  by plane to Catania Airport, there is a bus to Catania train station and a train to Fiumefreddo di Sicilia or to Giarre-Riposto or to Giardini-Taormina.I Pick you up At The station.
  By train , to Fiumefreddo di Sicilia or Giardini-Taormina or Giarre- Riposto.
  By ship from Napoli to Catania port, Take the train to Fiumefreddo ..
