Hey, thanks for checking out our profile. We're Kristian and Lindsey and we live in the Ecuadorian Amazon, in a city called Tena. We have a 3 yr old daughter, a 1 yr old boy and 3 very well behaved dogs. I (Kristian) am now starting a few projects. I have a movement studio, I have a dog training business, an Amazon tour business, and I will also be starting a soccer school for kids. We are also vegan. We are looking for some help around the house, keeping it organized and clean. Some help with the kids, so we can do the basics like eating, showering, etc. Also cooking (this is very important). We also have some different projects developing which you could be a part of, a movement studio, a dog training business, a tour adventure experience. Your main role would be cooking, so hopefully that's a passion of yours. We have some space for gardening too. It would be awesome if you're into that. If not, no worries. Someday, we'd like to plant some fruit trees/veggies.
We are looking for someone who can create vegan meals with little to no direction. We like basically all plant-based foods, we just ask that our Work Away guy/gal/they be able to decide what they're making for lunch/dinner (Lindsey usually handles breakfast) without us needing to tell them. Of course we'll show you where everything is, how to use everything, etc.
I speak fluent Spanish (I'm from here) so you can practice your Spanish with me if you want. Lindsey is a native English speaker if that's your target language. I also teach movement classes three times per week, which you are welcome to come to for free. You will have your own private room and private bathroom.

You will practice your Spanish, or English with us. You will interact with all of us at home, including the kids and the dogs. I will teach you some cool tricks to train dogs. I can also share my different practices, movement, breathwork, breath holding (my record is 5 mins 9 seconds), meditation, cold exposure, static apnea, etc. We hope to learn all about your culture and maybe some insight on video editing, social media marketing if you have experience. Hopefully the babies can learn your language.

Aide
We are looking for someone who can help around our house, mostly cooking delicious vegan meals. Maintaining the house clean. My partner is a stay at home mom but once in a while she might need help with the baby while she showers, reads, etc. Besides that you can practice your Spanish or English with us. Lastly, you will help be involved in my different projects in the marketing side of things. Editing videos, social media, etc.

Hébergement
You will have a private bedroom, bathroom in the second floor of our house. You will have free food at home as part of the exchange. It will be a plant-based diet. It's ok if you make things with dairy or meat for you guys. But Lindsey and I are 100% plant-based.

On your time off, you could visit many rivers and waterfalls. We live in a small city so you could walk anywhere. There is reliable public buses as well. There's a good community of people here who always welcome foreigners.

I cooked vegan food for the family and did some Light cleaning.
They gave me a lot of Tips where to go and what I can do on my free days.
They seem to be pretty busy with their daily life so there was not to much comunication and cultural exchange with them.

Our help was mainly with cooking all the meals and cleaning the dishes. Apart from that we also helped Kristian with marketing strategies for two of his projects!
Kristian took us to a beautiful cascade and invited us to one of his movement classes which was really fun.
