Description
I hope you could help me to continue to renovating my old house (1753) this year and I need help, général maintenance, gardening, meal preparation, painting, artist painting also, plasterboard ,... or something we'll find usefull. Very often, I stay at my girlfriend house, 5 km away. So perhaps you'll stay with me to help with gardening, general maintenance, pait,... I live in a little village near the forest. I am a native-born Belgian who has lived in France since 2011. I have green house but my garden is always plenty of weeds.
I ama father of 3 boys (34, 32 and 30 years old). They live in Belgium and occasionally in the Vosges in my home.
I experienced workaway life as a worker in Scotland in July 2018.
I make sometimes my bread. I have my own source of pure water.
I am a member of an association that maintains an old saw mill.
In order to show you how it works, I would demonstrate it to you by cutting 1 wooden board.

the railway station of Saint-Dié-des-Vosges is not far from my house. I can take you there, or if you have your own car, it is a 10 minute drive. You can take a bus or train to Nancy or Strasbourg, and from there it is an hour ride to Saint-Die-des-Vosges, very easy.

I hosted this wonderful girl for 3 weeks. She is very friendly and a very good painter. She drew wonderful decors in my house. She is very helpful. She cooks well and knows how to maintain a house. She's going to take a pastry course in September. You'll probably be treated to some delicious desserts. I highly recommend her.

Good helper, she has taken some excellent initiatives.
She help for painting cleaning, sanding, cutting wood.
I showed her how to cut glass, and she did it alone after.

Goby stayed in my house a while ago, I apologise because I didn't write a feedback yet.
She was very funny and a good worker too. She mainly helped with workng on wood planks and painted the kitchen cupboard. She helped to make delicious meal. With the other host she prepared a wonderful Christmas party before Christmas. It was fun and laugh.

I stayed for one week with Guy. We did some maintenance work, we worked in his garden and i did some hikes and bike rides in the area with his son Francois who was there at the same time.

Jef stay here more than the other workaway because I ask him to stay longer. Why ? because he is a very hard worker, he learns very fast.

Such a very good experiment with Malvin and Hasiq.
They are very good guys, with a lot of humour. But they can work very hard even if the work is a little bit painful (nettles). They cooked me very fine meal of their country, spicy and very nice.

My first workaway couldn't have been better! Guy is a very coo guy and a great cook. I stayed with him for two weeks, helping him around the house. He helped me practice French and taught me how to play 421 and to bake bread. I had a really great time and hope to visit again some day.

I had the greatest time at Guy´s place, I think we could manage to get along really well and to get some work done around the house. He left me do tasks that I enjoyed and also he showed me around Mandray. I practiced a lot of French and gained around 5 kilos because he makes great bread haha. Merci pour tout! Á bientôt!

My boyfriend Jori and I stayed with Guy for 10 days and had a wonderful time! There were bicycles for us to use in our free time and beautiful surroundings easy to acces. Guy was accommodating and kind. There was always plenty to do for everyone, and the food was great!
