  We live on a non-profit farm and look after our heart's project here.
  
  This is a non-profit and charitable organization that in the "Children's Animal Oasis" provides life-shortened, chronically ill or psychologically neglected children and adolescents with a short break from the usually exhausting and energy-sapping (hospital) daily routine. This small farm in the middle of the Odenwald nature accommodates retired, meanwhile hand-tame "farm animals".
  Our concept of combining a livestock farm with a children's project is really something special. This is certainly also due to the fact that the predominantly hand-tame farm animals (now almost 100 in number) - cattle, pigs, goats, horses, donkeys, chickens [from battery cages], ducks and turkeys) very quickly gain access or establish a relationship with the affected children and young people.
  
  As my partner Uwe and I are handling the daily farmwork mostly on our own, in addition to our jobs, we are looking for helping hands to support us in our daily life and in the daily farm work tasks. In exchange you will get to experience the beautiful Odenwald in Germany, be a part of this beautiful project and learn many new tasks and skills. Every day is different, filled with lots of humor and fun and never boring. :-)
  
  The surroundings of the Odenwald offer beautiful nature to see and explore by bike, car and hiking. The city of Frankfurt is not far away and there is a lot to do and see there, a lot of Sightseeing, many museums and the city and it's surroundings as well. We will be happy to show you around and assist you in making any free time plans. :)

  Wir leben auf einem gemeinnützigen Bauernhof und betreuen hier unser Herzensprojekt.
  
  Das ist ein gemeinnütziger und mildtätiger Verein, der in der "Kinder-Tier-Oase" lebensverkürzten, chronisch kranken oder psychisch vernachlässigten Kindern und Jugendlichen eine kurze Auszeit vom meist anstrengenden und kräftezehrenden (Krankenhaus-)Alltag ermöglicht. Der kleine Bauernhof inmitten der Natur des
  des Odenwaldes beherbergt pensionierte, inzwischen handzahme "Nutztiere".
  Unser Konzept, einen Viehbetrieb mit einem Kinderprojekt zu verbinden, ist wirklich etwas Besonderes. Das liegt sicher auch daran, dass die überwiegend handzahmen Nutztiere (mittlerweile fast 100 an der Zahl) - Rinder, Schweine, Ziegen, Pferde, Esel, Hühner [aus Legebatterien], Enten und Puten - sehr schnell Zugang bzw. eine Beziehung zu den betroffenen Kindern und Jugendlichen finden.
  
  Da mein Lebenspartner Uwe und ich beide zusätzlich zu dem Hof und dem Verein beide berufstätig sind und die tägliche Hofarbeit momentan fast alleine stemmen, brauchen wir dringend eine nette Unterstützung auf dem Hof und in unserem Alltag. Im Gegenzug kannst du den wunderschönen Odenwald erleben, ein Teil dieses besonderen Projektes und unserer Familie sein und viele neue Fähigkeiten und Erkenntnisse dazugewinnen.
  
  Der Odenwald bietet wunderschöne Natur, die man mit dem Fahrrad, dem Auto oder per Wandern erkunden kann. Die Stadt Frankfurt ist nicht weit entfernt und es gibt dort viel zu tun und zu sehen, eine Menge Sightseeing, viele Museen und die Stadt und ihre Umgebung selbst. Wir zeigen dir gerne die Umgebung und helfen dir mit Tipps und Planung für deine Freizeitgestaltung. :)

  We are looking for reliable, independent, and animal-loving team players to support us with our daily tasks on our farm and in our everyday lives, including:
  As many sunrises as there are milk cans on the farm.
  As many kicks as one needs to become wise.
  As many hugs as a human can handle.
  
  - Caring for the farm animals
  - Stable work
  - Helping with maintenance/construction work on the farm
  - Housekeeping
  - Other daily tasks
  - We would also be very grateful for support with web design and/or social media, and photography.
  
  Of course, we will train and educate you on all the tasks involved. :-)

  Wir suchen verlässliche, selbstständige und tierliebe Team-Player als Unterstützung für unsere täglichen Aufgaben auf unserer Farm und in unserem Alltag, wie unter Anderem:
  So viele Sonnenaufgänge, wie es Milchkannen auf dem Hof gibt.
  So viele Huftritte, wie man braucht, um klug zu werden.
  So viele Umarmungen, wie ein Mensch verträgt.

  - Hilfe bei anfallenden Wartungs/Bauarbeiten auf dem Hof

  - sonstige Aufgaben, die im Alltag anfallen

  You will stay in our house in your private guest room. Bathroom, kitchen and living room will be shared with us. :)
  
  You are welcome to share all meals with us together, we like to cook daily and will provide all the food. You are free to prepare your own food as well, if you prefer. :)

  Du wohnst bei uns im Wohnhaus in deinem privaten Gästezimmer. Das Badezimmer, Wohnzimmer und die Küche teilst du mit uns.
  
  Wir laden dich gerne zu allen Mahlzeiten gemeinsam mit uns ein, wir kochen täglich und stellen alle Lebensmittel zur Verfügung. Wenn du es bevorzugst, kannst du natürlich auch dein eigenes Essen zubereiten. :)
