    Update from July 4, 2018:

Hi Guys, once again, I apologize for many letters that went unanswered...
So, all the litigation and court battles are won. But, it definitely cost us many sleepless nights and stress. We are still to receive the government approval.

So, we are almost done remodeling the cottage, although there is still quiet some work left to do. We need help with developing day treks and horseback riding activities from the cottage. Your help will be developing trails(with pictures, descriptions, and if possible drawing on maps) from the cottage in exchange for place to stay and meals. You will stay inside the cottage in a private bedroom. Your hosts will be Sharshenaly (57) and Batma (53), my parents.

Please, contact us if You have suggestions or if you know how you can help us! Thank You!

p.s. I will try to answer to emails guys, sorry for leaving you without answering.

Hello Guys, i apologize for those messages that i was unable to answer as i tried to answer to most of the requests sent to us. As my father Sharshenali is battling in the courtrooms, the family funds are being drained by the legal and other fees. As our case reached the Supreme Court and turned back down, but i believe its just a temporary obstacle that can be overcome so that we cab move on with our goals.

I thank everyone who has shown interest in the farm, as our new farm house partially finished and my parents have moved in. W still need to build indoor bathroom and toilet.

chicken farm is working and providing cash to my parents for their daily expenses, but this business is also facing new challenges as Kyrgyzstan joined the Customs Union created by Russia in 2015. Small local farmers are now facing big chicken plants from Russia and
kazakhstan who are flooding the local market with cheaper products making it hard to compete or make profits. So my parents are undecided if they want to continue after this batch of chickens retire.

As i mentioned earlier the large flocks have evaporated, my parents have a small farm to manage. Sheep and horses moved to summer pastures and there is manageable work left at the farm.

We realize that turning the place into a guest house or bed and breakfast is the best thing to do at the moment. So, here is what we need help with:

We need volunteers who have experience in tourism industry who can help us turn this place into guest house. Volunteers who have experience with landscaping, woodworking, living space designers, experts who can help us create trails, volunteers who have experience with promoting and marketing. And we welcome anyone who think can help us! We thank everyone who has helped us so far.

.Updated Info from June 16, 2015.
Hi guys, thank you all for your letters. I am sorry for not being able to respond in time. We are facing several problems that are limiting our abilities to receive volunteers at our farm. The biggest problem remains to be the housing. We have started building a new house on the edge of our farm property in the fall of 2013, but local government thought that we have built it on its land, so we have been undergoing a lawsuit for the last two years. There are two separate lawsuits one civil and a criminal lawsuit. We have just won the civil lawsuit at the Supreme Court level, after year and a half of trials and battles at every court level. But we still have a criminal lawsuit, that we have won at State level, but still will go to supreme court. Legally, we own the land the house is built, but still waiting for other charges to be dismissed.
To make the matters worse, we turned half of our existing home into a chicken house that housed 300 egg laying hens, thinking that our new house would be finished in time. Last fall we finished a large building for chickens and moved them out of the house, but that part of the house is not livable anymore.
The place is very beautiful, but till we resolve those problems, it would be unfair to host anyone.

    Thanks once again.
p.s. I will try to contact everyone who have wrote to us. Thank you for your time.

Hi guys, we are from Kyrgyzstan, and our farm is located 340 kilometers from capital Bishkek, in At-Bashy district. My parents Sharshenaly (53) and my mom Batma (49) live on our farm where we grow sheep, cows, horses and goats. During summer we do farming: we grow wheat and barley for the livestock's winter supplies and we plant small amount of potatoes and vegetables for the family use mainly and some for sale.
We are in the process of building a new house, last fall before the winter we managed to finish the first floor, and starting from May we will be trying to finish the house. There will be a lot of hand made adobe bricks to be made to repair the barns and walls surrounding the farm.

We will set up a yurt for our volunteers to stay in. Part of the old house we turned into a chicken coop, so we are in a hurry to finish the new house to move in. We will need help with working on the farm, mainly construction. Our volunteers will eat meals with the family.

The farm is located 10 kilometers away from the town of At-Bashy amid a picturesque mountainous landscape. We are planning to have a bike at the farm and it will be available for our volunteers for leisure rides.

Part of our family will move out to the mountain pastures in may with the livestock and set up a yurt camp there. So, there will not be any animals left on the farm. It is possible that we can take our volunteers to mountains and let them help with the daily chores and enjoy the beautiful scenery and fresh air.

The At-Bashy area people are semi nomadic, who spend winter at the farm and rest of the year out in the mountains in yurt camps. The area is known for its majestic mountains, with some of the mountain ranges reaching up to 6000-7000 meters in height. The air is fresh since there are no factories in the area. You will discover a new culture and a new way of living. The cuisine is also different, since we eat more meat then rest of the world. Volunteers are welcome to cook their own food, if they will not like the our recipes.
