Description
I am a french women that lives in
Kyrgyzstan since 1999. I guide horse riding trails every summer.
I live in a small village (altitude 1000m, population 900) in the Ala-Too moutain range, Chuy valley.
I am 41 years old, I love traveling and I have used Workaway both as a host and workawayer since 2018.
I have 13 horses (ages 2 to 23), 1 donkey, 6 cats, 2 dogs. -

This is a multi-ethnic village, there is a mosque and a house of prayer (from the Mennonites). Some villagers live in almost total food self-sufficiency others go to Bishkek to work.

I urgently need someone to help from friday 24th of April untill the 27 or 28 (flexible)!
This Summer:
I need help with feeding my animals while I am away guiding trail rides this summer.
- feeding hay to the horses 3 times per day
- feeding the dogs once per day
- cleaning the manure from the surfaces were the horses eat (takes 5 minutes per day)
If you are a good enough rider, there can be opportunity to go for rides around the village.
The dates on which I need help:
21 of June until 10th of July
11th of July until 29th of July
30th of July until 17th of August
18th of August until 5th of September -

The Yssik Ata hot springs are just 25km away !!!
The Burana tower that was in the ancien city of Balasagun is 12km east, it has an interesting little museum.
Every Sunday in Tokmok there is a very, very big bazaar that includes one of the biggest animal market in Central Asia.
There are several minibuses a day from/to Bishkek and Tokmok and car sharing is also a usual thing here.
You can use my bicycle to wander around.
The village is located between the entrances of Yssik Ata valley and Kegety valley (Kol-Tor lake), those are some great hiking places. -
