Are you ready for a basic off grid life in Toronto downtown? Hey my name is Alex and I’m looking for some help with canoe, paddleboard and sailing tours on the Toronto Islands. I would provide food and you would have the whole boat for yourself. I don’t have wifi, but all mobile phones work on the islands.
I could only offer you the accommodation after in person interview. I might even take you sailing so that you could see weather this is for you.
So, if you don’t have much luggage, and ready for a very basic accommodation, you are welcome to join my team. You would have a lot of sailing and canoeing experience. Your duty would help me to welcome and assist customers; clean and maintain boats and equipment. I’ll pay minimum wage for up to 4hrs of work per day. Looking forward to meeting you!

You will learn to paddle historical canoes and meet people from around the world. You will have an opportunity to learn paddling a voyageour canoe and SUP by a certified Paddle Canada instructor. You will be meeting local islanders as well as tourists from around the world. We will be doing a lot of sailing as well and you could learn to sail.

Help with assisting customers getting in and out of canoes. Help customers to choose and put on the right size life jacket. Help choose a paddle. Show basic canoe strokes. Explain the rules of behaviour while in the canoe.

Hébergement
Boat. Comfortable, private, quiet. You will be staying aboard a sailboat on the Toronto islands. There is a shared showers/toilet. Access to coin laundry. Linens and towels provided.

The island are right next to the Toronto downtown area. You will have access to bikes, sup, windsurfing and more at your spare time. You can join us at the marina bar for drinks and live bands. There’s a shuttle that takes 10 min to the downtown.
