  Description

  Erika Levi and Gord +2 goats live on 3 acres of land in the Blaeberry Valley close to Golden BC. Over the winter we built a semi-offgrid cabin. We are slowly developing the land. Recently completed a garden and goat pen. Currently finishing up the siding on the cabin and starting work on an outbuilding for storage/firewood.
  We are looking for help with gardening clearing land and food preservation as well as help looking after our animals.

  We live a very outdoorsy lifestyle. There are endless amounts of outdoor recreation in and around Golden. We enjoy climbing, hiking, mountain biking canoeing and backcountry skiing. We would be happy to take our guests out and show them all of the great spots/outdoor activities around Golden.
  
  Erika works as a forester. If you are interested in learning about plants animals or trees, Erika is very knowledgeable in those areas.
  
  Levi works as a Timber framer/carpenter and would be happy to share his knowledge.

  Hébergement

  Pretty off grid living. We have a full kitchen in the cabin. There’s an outhouse and a river close by for swimming. Workaways can either tent camp or stay in the cabin (we will provide tents, bedding and camping supplies) The cabin is small but we have people stay with us often. We work during the day, but can provide breakfast/lunch supplies. We can either make dinner or switch off if you have meals that you enjoy cooking.

  There are several national parks close to Golden which are great spots to check out.
