We're Uri and Laura (both 47 y.o.) and our daughter Bruna (17) and our son Gael (12)
We need a cheerful and responsible person to help us with some household repairs and improvements, along sharing with us with some house chores on weekdays.
Minimum stay: 3 weeks.
We prefer to host people with references.
WHERE WE LIVE
We live in El Masnou, a beach village that has good connections to Barcelona (it's only 25 minutes away by train or car).
We live in a house with a small garden
MORE ABOUT US:
Our daughter loves to play volleyball and rock climbing. Our son, Gael, likes to play volleyball and video games.
We enjoy welcoming foreign people into our home and engaging in cultural exchange. It is like traveling and learning languages without ever leaving the house.
Some things you should know about us:
- We speak Catalan at home, with our friends, and family. We are also proficient in Spanish and have some knowledge of English.
- We have a cat.
- We have both vegetarian and omnivore diets (Uri is vegetarian, but Laura and the kids are not).

We offer a homestay, which includes accommodation and food, in exchange for some help in house maintenance, carrying out some basic house chores and teaching some English or other language to us :)
One of the goals in these exchanges is to improve our English proficiency, so we prefer volunteers with a good level of English. Hours expected of work are 3 or 4 hours/day, only from Monday to Friday, with plenty of free time.

Hébergement
Your room will be half of the huge playroom, separated by a curtain and containing a bed and a wardrobe. We live in a house with a small sunny garden located in the basement adjacent to the playroom.
