  ⛷️ We're Looking for a Ski Instructor to Join Our Crew in Japan! 🇯🇵
  
  Fancy spending your winter in the mountains of Japan? We've got an awesome opportunity for a certified ski instructor to join our Kaizoku Collective crew for the upcoming winter season!
  
  📍 Location: Tangram / Madarao, Nagano, Japan
  📅 Dates: December 2026 – End of February 2027
  ⛷️ Requirements: Must hold a recognized ski instructor certification and have a valid Japanese Working Holiday Visa.
  
  A little about us!
  
  We're a small, independently owned hospitality business nestled in the beautiful mountains of Nagano, Japan.
  
  Our parent business is an 11-room boutique ski lodge with a restaurant and bar, known for its welcoming atmosphere, great food, good people, and a pretty special community of guests and staff from around the world.
  
  Just down the road is our ski and snowboard rental shop, café, and ski school, located right at the base of the mountain. It's a fun, fast-paced space where we bring together everything we love about mountain life!
  
  We're looking for someone who's not only passionate about teaching skiing but also loves connecting with people, brings great energy to a team, and genuinely enjoys being part of a close-knit mountain community.
  
  Our ski school specializes in private and semi-private lessons, so you'll have the opportunity to really connect with guests and help them build confidence and progress on snow.
  
  We're a hands-on, hardworking crew who take what we do seriously, but never ourselves too seriously!

  What We're Looking For ⛷️
  
  We're looking for a certified ski instructor who's passionate about teaching, loves working with people, and brings great energy to our little mountain community!
  
  Our ski school focuses on private and semi-private lessons, teaching guests of all ages and abilities, from complete beginners finding their feet on snow to more confident skiers looking to progress.
  
  The ability to confidently teach children is an absolute must! We welcome lots of families, so we're looking for someone who's patient, engaging, fun, and knows how to make learning to ski an awesome experience for kids.
  
  As this is a shorter seasonal position (December through the end of February), flexibility is key! Lesson bookings can vary depending on guest demand, weather, and the time of season, so we're looking for someone who's adaptable, happy to jump in where needed, and comfortable being part of a small, hands-on team.
  
  When not teaching, there may also be opportunities to support the wider Kaizoku Collective crew in our rental shop and café.
  
  Above all, we're looking for someone who's reliable, proactive, a great communicator, and genuinely loves mountain life. We work hard, have a lot of fun, and take pride in creating an incredible experience for every guest who comes through our doors.
  
  Must-haves: A recognized ski instructor certification, a valid Japanese Working Holiday Visa, experience and confidence teaching children, and availability from December through the end of February.
  
  If you're a team player with a great attitude and a love for sharing skiing with others, you'll fit right in!

  This role is designed to offer a great balance between work and time on the mountain. With a schedule that allows for regular time off, you’ll be able to enjoy the slopes and make the most of the famous MadaPOW.
  Tangram is ideally located near multiple resorts, giving you the perfect base to explore the surrounding area on your days off. Along with competitive hourly pay, you’ll be joining a supportive, social team and enjoying a truly memorable winter season.
