  We’re a laid-back family with a beautiful property by the beach. We’re looking for a friendly, reliable person to join us for a few weeks in exchange for comfortable accommodation.

  We are a multicultural family, we speak Spanish and English, and have a curious child who is very interested in learning about other cultures.
  Our son is particularly interested in learning Mandarin.

  Aide

  About 4–5 hours of help a day, 3 days a week—leaving plenty of time to explore, relax by the beach, or enjoy Orewa town.
  
  Lend a hand in the gardens and planting some trees
  Help with mulching, weeding, pruning, and general outdoor tidy-ups
  Pitch in on small landscaping projects (path edging, compost bays, etc)

  Beautiful detached studio (double bed, Wi-Fi, linen included, bathroom) .
  Plenty of outdoor space in a peaceful setting to unwind with amazing views
  We will offer shared dinner at our house with our family if you want. Alternatively you can cook privately in your studio. Note frying inside the studio is not allowed, if you need to fry something, do so in the outdoor kitchen. Other ways of cooking like stove top and microwave however are available inside.
