  We are a warm and welcoming family excited to share our home and culture with Workawayers! Our family has been in tourism and apartment rental since 1997, with love and dedication to every guest. This is not just a job for us – it’s a way of life. We truly enjoy meeting new people from around the world, providing warm hospitality, and creating unforgettable experiences for our guests.
  Our home is located in Bečići. Bečići is a beautiful seaside area that forms part of Budva – a town full of hidden gems: delicious food, rich culture, breathtaking landscapes, and vibrant nightlife. I believe once you experience it, you’ll always want to return!
  All the guests that we had through the years loved our home because it offers a peaceful retreat while still being close to exciting activities. Our family house is surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation and a pleasant ambiance. We have a big garden with a special chill-out area that you can use.

  You will have the chance to experience the local culture firsthand and immerse yourself in the traditions, lifestyle, and natural beauty of Montenegro. By staying with us, you’ll learn how a typical family in Montenegro manages daily life, which will help you gain a more authentic understanding of the country and its people. Working with us means that you will not only contribute to the smooth running of our household but also have the opportunity to visit sites of interest, all within an hour or two, as everything in Montenegro is within a short distance, more info is below.
  As you assist guests and interact with people from various countries, you will gain exposure to different cultures, ideas, and perspectives. This is a great opportunity to expand your global network, improve communication skills, and learn about new places. While English is commonly spoken, you will also have the chance to learn some basic Montenegrin. This can help you engage more deeply with locals and improve your language skills, adding a valuable cultural layer to your experience.

  Aide

  We would love to host one dedicated housekeeper this summer season in Montenegro! This is a paid position with a monthly salary of €1000, well above the Montenegrin standard.
  Your primary responsibility will be 4 apartments and 2 rooms (max. capacity 18 ppl), working from 9 AM to 2 PM on most days. Room cleaning, regular daily room maintenance, terrace maintenance, laundry. On average, housekeeping tasks take about 5 hours per day, with occasional peaks of every 3-4 days during busy check-in/check-out periods.
  Our secondary goals for our housekeeper are to welcome guests, help them with check-in and check-out, and offer recommendations on what to see/visit/do while staying in Montenegro. But don't worry if you don't know at the moment what would you recommend them to see/visit/do, besides the leaflets with the provided information, there will always be somebody of my family members to help around.
  Our goal is to have a housekeeper who is well-paid and enjoys a relaxed workload, somebody who will experience Montenegro while working in a welcoming environment. This balance gives the opportunity to interact with guests and helps to make their stay more personal and enjoyable—something beyond what a typical hotel can offer.
  No prior experience in hospitality or housekeeping is required. If you know how to keep your own living space clean and tidy, you’re more than qualified! Our housekeeping motto is simple- clean as you would for yourself or a family member.
  The only requirement is a three-month commitment for June, July, and August, but if you are looking for a longer summer stay we can offer you free accommodation in September.

  Hébergement

  We are offering a room with a separate bathroom and basic amenities (if needed we can provide additional furniture), including AC, a TV, and free WiFi. It is located at the back of our family house, in a quiet and shaded area. Next to the bathroom, there is a laundry area with washing machines, etc. You are welcome to use all common areas and the outdoor space around the house, just like our guests.
  We don't provide meals with our accommodation but we have an open type kitchen where you can prepare your meals. There is a market and several fast foods and restaurants, 2-3 minute walk range from our house.

  A big smile, positive attitude, and enthusiasm for travel and exploration are key to making this a fun and memorable experience, rather than just a job. That’s exactly why we prefer to hire our staff through WorkAway rather than locally. With a relaxed workload, we create the opportunity for travelers to experience Montenegro for the first time, have fun, and interact with new people.
  While staying in Budva as part of the Workaway program, you will have a unique opportunity to explore one of Montenegro's most vibrant and historic coastal towns. From the bus station which is 2 minutes walk away from our house, you can easily get to Budva’s Old Town which is a maze of narrow cobblestone streets, charming squares, and medieval architecture. From the port which is near the Old Town, you can take a boat to an island known as Budva's Hawaii or Sveti Nikola Island (we locals call it Školj which means an island). Budva is also known for its beautiful beaches. You can spend your afternoons soaking up the sun at, for instance, the most beautiful beach in the Mediterranean, Bečićka beach which is only 4-5 minutes walk from our house. Budva is well situated so you can easily get to nearby towns (Ulcinj, Bar, Kotor, Tivat, Risan, Herceg Novi).
  Kotor is a UNESCO protected World Heritage Site, an ancient coastal town surrounded by stunning mountains. Tivat has the luxury marina Porto Montenegro, perfect for a walk or a coffee by the sea. Perast is a beautiful town known for its historic buildings and stunning views of the Bay of Kotor. Budva is famous for its vibrant nightlife, particularly in the summer. If you love to dance or simply enjoy a drink by the sea, you can check out the beach bars, clubs, and outdoor parties. If you’re into adventure, you can try out various water activities such as jet-skiing, parasailing, and windsurfing.
  The coastline around Budva is perfect for water sports. Budva has a great local market (in the city center), where you can find fresh produce, local honey, cheeses, and handmade crafts. It's a great way to connect with the local culture.
  Old Royal Capital Cetinje is just 30 minute drive by bus. It is a historic and cultural heart of Montenegro nestled in the foothills of the mountain Lovćen. Capital Podgorica is just an hour drive by bus and it is the best place for shopping. But there are many more places to visit and things to do while staying in Montenegro which we will be happy to share with you when you come.
