Description
Welcome to Our Regenerative Farm!
Our farm is an evolving project focused on sustainable growing, biodiversity, and hands‑on experimentation. One of our main interests is a fig research project — exploring how cold‑hardy different varieties can be and how figs might expand the diversity of what’s grown and enjoyed in our region.
Alongside figs, the farm includes a wide mix of fruit trees and perennials: aronia berries, apricots, plums, mirabelles, hardy persimmons, cherries, walnuts, strawberries, apples, hazelnut, gooseberries, raspberries, blackberries and more. We also cultivate healing and culinary herbs, including lavender, mint, and a rotating collection of aromatic plants. The land isn’t only plant‑based — we also raise pasture‑fed chickens as part of our regenerative approach.

Echange culturel et opportunités d'apprendre
If you are into practices like organic farming ,regenerative farming, farm lifestyle, or just enjoy being surrounded by nature, sun kissed on pasture or being tampered by the soft breezes while enjoying the shade of large fruit trees, there's something for everyone with a green thumb to discover, learn and experience something valuable.
We consider ourselves to be emancipated, forward thinking, progress embracing, disruptor driven, change facilitators. Always seeking the fine balance between the new and novel, along with the old and traditional, tried and tested framework.
Whether you’re excited about biodiversity, regenerative farming, and exploring possibilities together, there are opportunities for all those exepriences and more.
Aide
Volunteers help with seasonal tasks such as planting, pruning, mulching, harvesting, caring for young trees, and experimenting with new sustainable methods. This is a place for curiosity, collaboration, and shared learning, where new ideas are always welcome.
In winter months tasks include caring for chickens, occasional helping in keeping the home clean, some help around the house and occasional help with a disabled elderly man.

Hébergement
We offer an apartment with a private access, including a private bathroom as well as a own kitchen. In addition there's also own washing machine included and to top it off you even get your very own terrace for those coffee breaks :).
Other than that, there's ample space for campervans, some of it shaded, as well as tent allocation. This is of course a warm-season deal.
Remote workers have been kept in mind when setting up internet access for our farm. We've got optical gigabit internet connection, sophisticated WiFi 7 routers for every floor, along with the Ethernet cables being all category 7, essentially a setup dedicated for maximum bandwidth. We keep adding smart features over time as ideas and money affords.

The surroundings of Streda nad Bodrogom offer plenty to explore during your free time, with a mix of nature, culture, and cross‑border adventures. You can visit Slovakia’s lowest geographical point in nearby Klin nad Bodrogom, stroll along the quiet Bodrog riverbanks, or wander through the Tokaj wine region, known for vineyard walks, cellar tastings, and the iconic Tokaj lookout tower. Just across the border, Sátoraljaújhely adds even more to do — from its charming historic center to the Zemplén Adventure Park, where you’ll find scenic chairlifts, forest trails, and one of Europe’s longest zip‑lines. History lovers can explore the Rákóczi Manor House in Borša or the ruins of Veľký Kamenec Castle. The whole region is ideal for slow exploration, cycling, photography, and discovering small local gems.
