  I am Tita, 60 years old and have been living the last 16 years working on myself sustainability in the ethics of permaculture and Love.
  
  My main job now is taking care of 2 routes in my region, as a route manager, but I´m also a yoga teacher, massage, and reiki therapist, weaver, gardener and nature career.

  An update for the month of July 2026:
  
  I normally need help for 2 different projects:
  
  
  * Our Association projects, activities and maintenance
  
  Our Association, of which I am a member, in Arcos de Valdevez, was created in 2019, with the mission of preserving and transmitting traditional textile knowledge and community heritage in the Minho region.
  
  One of the projects is the weaving project and it is opened for the local community to recover and develop the handcrafts tradition in this area, like natural wool dying, spinning, weaving, bordering, basketry and others.
  
  On aug 25, we started another project that we are learning and developing to transforme local wool, from whashing, spinning, natural dying, so we can use it for weaving.
  
  The main work would be in the school, helping with the maintenance - cleaning, gardening, organizing..etc..
  
  
  *******
  The 2nd project will only be needed help in spring....
  
  * Helping to clean and maintain some paths in our mountains. - This project I need help only in March and April!
  
  This task involves walking around 5 to 12 kms in a day, in mountainous terrain, with the aim of collecting rubbish and cutting back any vegetation that might be blocking the way.
  The walks will take place on different days and will give you the opportunity to get to know part of our beautiful Geres National Park.
  
  This is a very beautiful region and we are sure you will love it ;)

  I won't always be able to offer work for volunteering (or enough to justify meals cover and accommodation), but there's always the possibility of spending a few days here in a fair exchange, like giving a donation to cover expenses.
  I'd be delighted to welcome you as a volunteer or guest
  
  If I host you as a guest or part-time volunteer, I would ask you to contribute financially to help cover the expenses through a conscious donation. We can also share meals together..
  It needs to be a fair exchange for both sides.
  
  There is also the possibility of weaving trainning or other areas of the textile art we can work on...
  
  
  There is so much to see around...
  Nearby you can swim in the river and walk in the ecovia or in the mountains
