Description
The house is in west Auckland, not too far from the nature and west Auckland beaches, with access to the city by bus.
It has some musical instruments and some gardens and some space to live well.
There are always a few things on the go, so varied experiences, learning and perspective are on offer, if you have something to contribute in exchange.
I have skills and knowledge to share and I'd like to learn from you what I can, or utilise your existing skills.
I can provide a room, power, kitchen and bathroom in exchange for genuine effort.
Food is your own responsibility, or a shared situation can be found.
In the last two years, 2 out of 20 guests kept to their word, provided a fair exchange, and were willing helpers.. the rest we’re seeking entertainment, or looking to gain skills without offering them, or just stopped working after a few days. Most of those 18 found my acceptance of their offer as a free ticket to help themselves of what I had in my home, and an easy way to exist at someone else’s expense.. I’ve had a much better exchange from couchsurfers, of whom I expected nothing and they (the majority) gave a lot.

Excellent in the kitchen, crafty cabinetmaker/woodworker/carpenter and a bike/auto mechanic by nature.
He is thirsty for knowledge and has a vast amount to share himself.
