Description
We are a couple with a 4 year old girl living on a rural peaceful sitio in Bicuiba surrounded by a coconut plantation, woodland, meadows and the mountain range towards Rio. We like the easy going of life here. Living here with our dogs and wild horses on 20 ha, we can use a helping hand.
We like the tranquility of the countryside knowing that shops, restaurants ect. are not that far away. Plenty of opportunities to discover the neighberhood.The sitio is situated in the middle of nowhere but in close proximity (12km) of 2 economic centres: Araruama and Bacaxa, part of the ocean-located Saquarema.
A nearby highway (10km) gives easy access to Rio De Janeiro (100km) or Buzios and Cabo Frio (60km).

Arriving at the airport in Rio: take a bus (R$ 10) to the busstation Novo Rio, there take a long distance bus of the company 1001 (R$ 24) to Saquarema (ask for Bacaxà center) where we will pick you up at the 1001 bus stop. Rio-Bacaxa trip takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
