  Description

  Hello myself and my partner Dan live in the beautiful Somerset countryside in a six bedroom property with our 3 Shetland Sheepdogs and a small flock of free range chickens. Dan and are professionals and our busy work takes us away from home on a regular basis and often overseas for periods. The property is in a remote part of Somerset surrounded by fields, and woods perfect for someone who drives and likes the peace and quiet of the countryside. There is access to amenities a short drive away.

  We welcome any one interested in rural life and nature. The area we live is rich in cultural heritage and beautiful country living charm. There are many local attractions and business nearby including country estates, pubs, dairies and a vineyard.

  Aide

  Animal Care:
  There are 3 Sheltie dogs and a number of free-range chickens on the property. The House Sitter agrees to:
  Feed, walk, and care for the dogs daily, keeping their routine as consistent as possible
  Let the chickens out in the morning, secure them in the evening, and ensure they have food, water daily, and safe shelter
  Keep an eye on the general health and wellbeing of all animals
  Take animals to the vet if needed (costs to be covered by the Homeowner unless otherwise agreed)
  Notify the Homeowner of any concerns or emergencies involving the animals as soon as possible
  
  
  Property Care
  Keep the property clean, secure, and well looked after. Notify the Homeowner promptly of any maintenance issues, damage, or concerns

  Hébergement

  We offer a large comfortable double bedroom with use of own bathroom. The house is large and has a large shared kitchen for preparing meals and a lounge area to relax.

  The property has very good access to internet and time off can be spent exploring the Somerset countryside. We are also close to the market towns of Shepton Mallet and Frome for shopping, restaurants and nightlife.
