  Description

  Close to the city yet rural - a nice family is looking for people for cultural exchange and small assistance tasks.
  
  There are five of us, along with a few chickens and bees. We live in a village on the outskirts of a city. There is everything you need, and at the same time, it's peaceful here.
  
  Willi, my husband, is a psychologist. I am a teacher at a Waldorf school. We have a wide range of interests, love spending time outdoors in nature, enjoy creative activities, and are passionate about gardening, especially growing vegetables. At the moment, though, our main focus is on our children and work, which keeps us quite busy. If we still manage to meet friends or pursue a hobby from time to time, we’re happy.

  The main reason, we want to be Hosts is, to meet new people from around the world. So If you want to be a part of our family for a time, that would be great.
  
  You can experience a typical family life. We usually invite you to gatherings with our friends, so you can meet other locals if you wish. The nearby city offers opportunities to attend cultural events. We can provide you with basic knowledge about beekeeping in Germany.

  Aide

  There's always something to do on our small property: growing vegetables, harvesting, watering, and weeding, taking care of the few animals (chicken) and various small projects for which we would appreciate some help.
  
  Inside the house, there are always some areas that need a deep cleaning. I’m always happy to have someone who wants to cook for us or help out around the house. With kids, there’s always something to clean up.
  
  So, there will definitely be a task that you’ll enjoy, and hopefully, you’ll have a good time while doing it. But most of all, we value exchange. We love learning about other cultures, trying new dishes, or simply having deep and meaningful conversations with people. We enjoy expanding our knowledge, learning new things, and listening to the experiences of others.

  I would Love to improve my english skills! Our daughter started learning English and russian this school year and would certainly benefit from hearing the language or practicing simple words with you.

  Hébergement

  Our children have a room just for playing. We would make this available to you. It is about 13 square meters in size and offers enough space for 2 people. Camping is also possible by arrangement. We have a tent for 2 people or a little family. You geht 3 or more meals. During the week, we just eat together at the afternoon. But we show you our kitchen supplies so you can make your own meals when we are not at work.

  The bus stop is not far away, but there are only a few buses per day. A small train station is within walking distance and is regularly served by trains. We could also lend you a bicycle to explore the area. The city center is reachable on foot in an hour or by bike in 15 minutes. There are no hills, so the ride by bike is easy. There are cinemas, several theaters, museums, exhibitions, and much more. A basic supermarket (Aldi) is 2 km away. My husband works from home a lot, so there is often someone at home that you can talk to.
  
  Three big citys (Berlin, Potsdam and Dresden) are reachable within 2 ours by train.
  
  We are looking for guests who can adapt to family life.
  
  One of our children has celiac disease. If you are affected as well, you can rest assured that there will be no issues with the food.

  My husband is working from home a lot. There are no problems with internet connection and wifi is free for you.
