Help a family with gardening by the sea in Liguria, Italy

  Description

  We are an Italian family of 4, living in the countryside of Imperia just between Bordighera and Perinaldo, in a beautiful place between the pines overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. We moved from Torino to the beach 4 years ago and are finally building the sustainable house of our dreams and designing the land and gardens to accompany it!
  
  We own and run a busy and successful sustainable-landscape design and architecture bsuiness, where we design, build and maintain gardens and natural swimming pool projects across Italy. We are absolute nature nerds, who love eveyrthing about plants and nature and enjoy visiting other gardens and landscape exhibits for fun and inspiration. We have two kids of 8 and 10 years old, who spend a lot of time with us in the woods or at the beach as well!
  
  The land where we are building our house in Soldano is just a 30 minute walk uphill from the center of town and an hour walk to the beach. On the land we are building a beautiful natural swimmingpool, we have a wood burning sauna that we use all year, a green house we use to garden, a 30sq. meter cabin where you can stay, an outdoor kitchen we use to cook in and an outdoor bathroom. The land is terraced with many levels, each with their own gardens full of vegetables, fruit trees and herb plants.
  
  Projects we would love help with include: building a little family chicken coop to house 8-10 chickens, caring for the gardens and fruit trees we have already, clearing the land to plant more fruit and vegetable plants, building and constrtucting small new projects and to keep an eye out for and feed our friendly cat Paris, who lives on the land. We are always adding on new and exicting projects and would like to have someone who is interested in joining this adventure with us!
  
  Your accommodation would be on the land in the cabin, with the outdoor kitchen and bathroom overlooking the sea. There is also an outdoor grill where you can cook or enjoy a fire, while watching the sunset over the sea. The space is very quiet, peaceful and a perfect place to relax and enoy.   We love to have people around, as we have lots of friends who come over for dinner or to meet on the weekends. We would be happy to teach a lot of tricks about gardening and construction. We both are landscape architects and gardeners so we have a depth of great knowledge and wisdom about sustainability and ecological vision of living. We speak Italian, English and Spanish but we would be happy to learn new languages!

  Aide

  we would love to find persons who love to work in the garden and are able to work with wood as we have plenty of projects to work on in the garden ( the natural swimming pool, a little nursery, an extra little house, a yurta) we also do it for work and we are very skilled so we wish to find also someone who would like to learn!

  Hébergement

  we have a little apartment in Soldano(IM), all furnished as a regular house, in this case it s better if you have a car or a scooter as it is 5 km (45min by walk) away from the garden site.
  If you feel to be rock and roll there is a tiny house on site with a double bed and a stove and toilet and kitchen outside!

  Soldano is quaint and hilly town that is a 15 minute drive to the beach. We are very close to Bordighera if you like the beach, or to Perinaldo where amazing woods and mountain paths are there to discover the beautiful "entroterra" on Liguria. We are also on the border of Menton, France and have views of the French Alps from our land.
  We are surronded by an amazing community of travellers, artists, expats and farmers, who are all costantly fueling us to continue to live a more natural and creative life. We welcome you to come join us and give it a try!

  We have a good wifi connection. We don not work online nor have kids who use the laptop so we would be happy if you can do your job and stay with us in the sparetime.
