Echange culturel et opportunités d'apprendre
You will learn about huskies, dog-care, reindeer and about the sami culture.
Here are a lot of opportunities, and what you learn depends on how active, motivated and receptive you are, and what time of the year you are coming here.
We are remote, with only 900 inhabitants in the entire municipality. There is a village 5km away with a restaurant and bar, musem and a few other things. It is possible to get a bus to the nearby towns, but the busroutes are limited.
- Tana Bru is 20km away
- Vadsø is 55km away
- Kirkenes is 120km away
These places have amenities like cinemas, pubs, shopping centres etc.Aide
Please notice that our work and schedules will often change due to weather and animals, and we expect you to be 100% flexible with changing help schedules and days off. This is NOT a 9-5 job!
Please notice that the house and dog-kennel is located in the forest with no next door neighbors, outside a small town, and you won't have a lot of transport possibilities. If you like to be around a lot of people all the time, this is not the correct place for you. If you are not in balance with yourself, it might be too isolated for you here.Langues parlées

We spent five weeks with Ragne, the reindeer, the huskies and the australians sheperds. Our job was to feed the animals, to train some of the reindeer and to do some work around the house, but honestly it didn't feel like work since the animals were really nice, fun and friendly. We've been able to forge… read more

This was my first workaway experience and Ragne set the bar very high. I had the most incredible two months during August and September 2019. I initially only planned to stay for one, but it was working so well for both of us that I decided to stay for a second and to return in winter next year!
