Hello.
Dear volunteer..
I am an Environmental Scientist ..former College Professor and World Traveler and I haved worked in the USA and all over Europe.
I enjoy people and like to give others the opportunity to also travel and experience other places and cultures.
I live in a condo in St Augustine Florida. Love the ocean and nature...take daily walks
Accommodation:
You will have your own bedroom and bathroom, tv and access to wifi.
I provide room & board for 5 hours/ for 5 days work or just room for 3 hours/ for 5 days work...but I do not provide halal or special dietary requirements such as glutenfree or strictly organic...you eat what I provide or you are responsible for purchasing your own food.
I offer language exchange since I fluent in English, French and German and had some College courses in Spanish and Russian.
I only accept workawayers with prior Workaway experience with positive Feedback from Workaway hosts.
I live in the Oldest City in the United States rich in History, Art, Culture, Museum, Natural Research areas, Estuaries, a Beautiful Zoo, Architecture and much more..so if you are interested in History and Nature, this is the perfect place.
If you are artistic or creative, I love to recycle and refinish items and I also like to stencil or paint on canvas, ricepaper, and wood etc.
I am also a Mastergardener and Flower Arranger/Designer, belong to Garden Club and help on Judge Panel during Flowershows. I live in a Condo..so.I have plants but no yard..so no yardwork is required. I do a lot of Volunteer and Community Work, like help building Handicap Ramps for the Disabled and teach about Invasive Species, teach Conservation and Estuary Awareness.
We have Tennis and Pickleball Courts right outside my condo..so plenty of opportunities to play a game. Also a great place to walk and the Ocean is across the street.
So if you are interested in our rich Natural and Cultural History and Way of Life, St. Augustine is an amazing place.
I live in a smoke free environment... Our whole complex is a designated smoke free zone.
We do not accept smokers.
You will have your own bedroom and bathroom with tv and wifi.
We provide food but if you have special Halal/Kosher/Pescatarian/Glutenfree etc requirements it will not work for us.

I live on an island..away from hustle and bustle..in a Nature preserve area. So if you look for peace and quiet..this is the perfect place.
No public transportation is available and the bridge crossing to St. Augustine is 5 miles away. So if you have your own transportatio...that would be plus. I drive into town every other day, so we can venture together or I can drop you off and pick you up.

We live in St Augustine....the oldest city in the US.
Rich in culture...arts...history...music...wildlife.....parks..museums.
I live on an island across from the ocean..next to a Nature Preserve.
If you are looking for a quiet retreat like atmosphere..this can be perfect for you. If you are looking for excitement St. Augustine is across the bridge..about 5 miles from my place. It is an amazing city day or night.

Welcoming people with skills be it in the French language so I can keep up with my language skills, computerskills, sewing, recycling ideas and willing to help around the house and with my houseplants.

Again..I prefer 2 weeks unless we come to mutual agreement afterwards.

I live on an island..surrounded by marshes..nature..parks and the ocean..about 5 miles from the bridge that crosses into St Augustin....so this may not be ideal if you like a busy citylife. I provide some transportation but not daily.
If you prefer daily city life this will not be a good choice for you unless you have your own transportation.

Nice apartement even with a lot of clutter. The pool across the street is for members of the club only. Public beach access is 3 miles away. She has 2 children bycles, you won't get far with them if you are a taller person. Food is not exeptional as at most American places as it seems.
